The Chrono Morphers were Morphers created by the crime fighting unit of the future, Time Force. They were much more sleek and futuristic-looking than most other morphers and had their morph function triggered by, like most other Morphers, the press of a button. These morphers, along with the Quantum Morpher, were the first wrist Morphers to be integrated as a part of the Rangers' morphed form.
They could imprint the DNA of the wearer so that only a person in question or someone with similar DNA, such as a blood relative, can use them. The Chrono Morpher can also display holographic images such as when communicating with a fellow Ranger. Additionally, as demonstrated in "A Blue Streak", they also have the capability of projecting a special gravitation transmission upon only objects of a small size that enables them to be lifted and, while this projection is active, moved anywhere, and sometimes, if the objects in question are large but have been reduced in size for purposes such as storage, this transmission can bring them back to full size as well. These Morphers could be locked so that if a minimum of one was inactive, the others were as well, allowing the Morphers' uses to remain safely out of the wrong hands. Initially Alex the first Red Time Force Ranger's Chrono Morpher needed to be reactivated by his ancestor Wes in order for the others to work.
The Morphers also contain the Rangers' arsenal, perhaps hiding and placing the items in a pocket dimension.
Alternative to the Chrono Morphers, the Super Mega Rangers used Legendary Ranger Keys provided by Gosei to assume the corresponding Ranger forms as a Legendary Ranger Mode.
Morphing sequence[]
A Ranger presses the center button on the Chrono Morpher. A DNA strand is fired off and merges with his/her body. The morphing Ranger's body (except his/her head) is covered in a white light as they're surrounded by an endless tunnel of colored digital data. The DNA strand (which features all five colors within it) breaks up by a lightning strike of any color, releasing energy particles into his/her body. The morphing Ranger emerges from the release now fully morphed.

When a Ranger morphs, the first shot in the morph sequence, the pushing of the center button that triggers the launching of a DNA strand, sees a black background that is then coated in small Ranger-colored number digits during the first body shot of a morphing Ranger:
The lightning strike-triggered DNA strand explosion (the explosion-triggering lightning strikes are seen in the color of the morphing Ranger) is placed between the body shot of a morphing Ranger's body (minus the head) in white light coating and the sequence's second body shot of the morphing Ranger, the Ranger now suited and then entering a stance for each Ranger.
