- "What is it, old man? Do you want something?"
- ―Chinomanako's first words[src]
Chinomanako (チノマナコ) is a Mokumokuren-themed Ayakashi who transforms into a twisted version of Kamen Rider Diend
called Chinomanako Diend Formation (チノマナコ・ディエンド変身態 Chinomanako Diendo Henshintai) by stealing Daiki Kaito's Diendriver.
History[]
He becomes an "Ayakashi Rakider" with his Chinomanako Diend Formation, this universe's (the Sentai universe) first ever Kamen Rider, in a world that was supposed to be without riders.
With all the crevices in the Diend helmet and armor, he can easily summon Nanashi Company. He also can use Kaijin Ride cards to summon past Kamen Rider monsters. Kamen Rider Decade
and Kuuga
team up with the Shinkengers to destroy this monster. After being destroyed, he did not become giant, implying that transforming took up his second life.
Super Hero Taisen[]

after the revival of Madou
Demon King Psycho
. They proceeded to attack the gathering of Kamen Riders
and Super Sentai, giving them a hard time. Chinomanako helped beat Kamen Rider OOO
with Rhino Doubler and Action Commanders Stargull and Sneak Brother. The heroes of recent years were in a pinch until the arrival of a force of Sentai and Rider reinforcements led by Akarenger and Kamen Rider Ichigo
. The combined forces of superheroes were able to turn the tide against the Madou army, with Chinomanako being beaten back by Kamen Rider Nigo
. They lined up and used their various finisher attacks to destroy the revived monsters.

Portrayal[]
Chinomanako is voiced by Ryuzaburo Otomo (大友 龍三郎 Ōtomo Ryūzaburō).
Design[]
- Chinomanako was designed by Tamotsu Shinohara (篠原 保 Shinohara Tamotsu), and is based on an eyeball and the yokai, Mokumokuren. According to legends, the Mokumokuren is a spirit that lives in torn paper sliding walls and has many eyes that can cause people to become blind if stared into. Chinomanako's ability to summon many eyes that also adorn his body seems to be the basis for this myth.
