This article is about a/an changer in Dengeki Sentai Changeman.

Change Brace (チェンジブレス Chenji Buresu): The Changemen's transformation brace. Transformation call is "Let's Change!" (レッツチェンジ! Rettsu Chenji!), followed by the name of the team or the transforming member. The transformation makes a pillar of Earth Force (represented by a cloud of steam rising from the ground) rise up while the suit emerges on them. It can also fire a Change Laser, emit a flash of light and can be used as a video phone for contact.

The brace was originally created by Commander Yui Ibuki and given to all ten members of his unit, knowing that when the Earth Force was discovered, it would react with the brace and give both the powers and unlock its full potential. The five who unlocked the Earth Force became the Changeman, while the five others of the unit became the supporting members of the Dengeki Squadron who assisted them in combat and logistics for dealing with the Gozma.Ep. 1: Arrival! Secret Power!Ep. 2: The Wrath of Star King Bazoo

At the climax of the Legend War, the Change Braces were made redundant when the Changemen sacrificed their powers with the rest of the first 34 Super Sentai to destroy the invasion force of the Space Empire Zangyack. Resurfacing as Ranger Keys, the Changeman powers would be used by the Gokaigers to assume their forms via the Gokai Change. Ultimately, the Gokaigers returned their borrowed powers to their rightful owners after overthrowing Zangyack.

Transformation Sequence

  • While not the first transformation with a phrase that isn't merely the team name (preceded by Go! and Fever!), Let's Change! (the activation phrase for Changeman) is the first actual two-word phrase and the first to use the word "Change", which will become prominent in various other transformations in the 2000s and 2010s with phrases such as Ninpu! Shinobi Change!, Bakuryuu Change!, Gokai Change!, Kyoryu Change! and ToQ Change!.
