The Rhino Galactabeast is transformed into a Megazord composed of 5 small car zords (labeled C1 though C5)).
Overview[]
The Centaurus can fire a powerful laser cannon, which was once used by the Stratoforce Megazord to defeat Chameliac in the episode The Chameliac Warrior. The Centaurus and Stratoforce Megazords showed the ability to combine into an energy tornado to attack starting in Enter the Lost Galaxy and used it to help defeat a mutated Deviot and the Titanisaur. It was destroyed by Stingwingers strapped with explosives in Journey's End, the three part finale of Lost Galaxy.

History[]
The Centaurus Megazord was originally the Rhino Galactabeast. 3000 years prior to the events of Lost Galaxy, the Rhino Galactabeast, along with the Phoenix and Shark Galactabests, lost their power in an unnamed great battle. The three Galactabeasts were left floating in space, until Deviot stumbled across them and captured them. Deviot performed work to have them rebuilt into Megazords which he could use to serve as his slaves.
The Centaurus Megazord would first see notable use as part of Deviot's plan to win a favor with Scorpius by destroying the Lost Galaxy Rangers. However, the Centaurus Megazord would not work until it was supplied with enough energy. Initially, Deviot had a captured Kai and Damon fight to generate energy for the Zord, but after having his plan thwarted by the Rangers, instead chose to channel the energy of one of the Rangers' attacks through him to provide the energy he needed.
With the Centaurus Megazord operational, Deviot used it, along with the Stratoforce Megazord, to try to defeat the Rangers. The Galactabeasts which comprise the Galaxy Megazord refused to fight what they recognized to be their former Galactabeasts friends. This caused the Lost Galaxy Rangers much confusion, until Kendrix Morgan discovered the truth about the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazord through study of the Galaxy Book.
Upon learning their true indentities, the Lost Galaxy Rangers made renewed efforts to get through to the spirits of the Galactabeasts, which they hoped lurked still in the Megazords. Eventually, they won through, and the Stratoforce Megazord and Centaurus Megazord helped the Rangers defeat the enemy Hardtochoke. TV STORY-The Lost Galactabeasts
From that point on, the Centaurus Megazord would assist the Rangers in battle, up until its destruction. TV STORY-Journey's End
