Rivals are Sentai Rangers that often have friction with another Ranger within their team due to their personalities, which are opposite to the protagonists. Some rivalries are due to events in the past prior to the start of the series, others happen in their first fight together. Usually black, blue, green and some yellow Rangers. Most rival Rangers tend to be male, though there have been a few female rivals.
