Icon-boukengerThis article is about a villain faction in GoGo Sentai Boukenger.

The Questers (クエスター Kuesutā), were robotic-armored versions of two of the Ashu Tribe, affiliating independently. The Questers possessed the ability to create wavelengths with the Gordom Engine, which interfere with the power of the Boukengers' AccelSuits' and GoGo Vehicles' Parallel Engine, and can melt into the ground. The two soon left Gajah and became freelance Treasure hunters, using the Gordom Engine technology and the Precious for their benefit of eliminating the human race, making the Questers the most dangerous of the Negatives. In Task 42, after the Homunculus was destroyed, the Questers challenged the Boukengers to battle, with Gai being defeated by Eiji, while Rei was destroyed by the Dual Crusher, finally destroying the remaining Ashu Tribe on Earth. Eiji would later set up grave-markers for the Questers out of respect.

Boukenger

The Questers were originally a race of beasts called the Ashu, cat-like beings who desired nothing more than the destruction of whatever they so chose. During this time, they battled against a clan of Ashu Hunters, the Takaoka, for many, many generations until they were finally sealed away by the 100-Demon Mirror leaving all but two sealed for eternity.

Eventually, the two remaining Ashu, Gai and Hyouga, found the mirror and conducted a ritual using human blood to release their kind from the mirror. It was only thanks to the efforts of the Boukengers and Eiji Takaoka that only one escaped, but that one was Grand Beast Rei. In spite of this, the group managed to defeat all three Ashu. However, Gajah used the power of his newly created Godoam Engines to revive Rei and Gai, creating a new threat known as the Questers. Originally created to be subservant to Gajah and his desires, the Questers betrayed him to fullfil their own ambitions to destroy humanity. In spite of their great power, the Boukengers, including Eiji, the Half-Ashu who became the newest memebers of their team, Bouken Silver, destrotyed the Questers and prevented their creations from destroying the Earth and those who inhabit it.

They proceeded to attack the gathering of Kamen RidersIcon-crosswiki and Super Sentai, giving them a hard time, with the Questers fighting Kamen Rider WizardIcon-crosswiki before he joined the Kyoryugers in Kyoryuzin. The heroes of recent years were in a pinch until the arrival of a force of Sentai and Rider reinforcements, which included the Boukenger five-man team, led by Akarenger and Kamen Rider IchigoIcon-crosswiki. The combined forces of superheroes were able to turn the tide against the Madou army. They lined up and used their various finisher attacks to destroy the revived monsters.
