History
Magiranger
The Ozu Family (小津一家 Ozu Ikka), also known as the Magirangers or the Mahou Sentai Magiranger, is a fictional family portrayed in the Japanese Super Sentai series Mahou Sentai Magiranger. They are a family of mages in various magics that battle the evil Underground Hades Empire Infershia with their magical ability to transform into the Magirangers.
These five children (three brothers and two sisters) lived peacefully with their mother, on the notion that their father died in an expedition in Antarctica. But upon learning the truth, their mother revealed to them their family legacy. Over time, they learn their father was a Heavenly Saint. The five siblings also receive the power to attain "Legend" form. By the final half of the series, the siblings were reunited with their parents.
Gokaiger
Years later, the Space Empire Zangyack invaded Earth. This threat was so great that all of the first 34 Super Sentai, including the eight Magirangers, were needed to oppose them. The 34 Sentai put up a valiant fight against the ground forces, but when the Zangyack fleet itself attacked them, Akarenger told everyone to combine their powers and save the Earth. This destroyed the Zangyack fleet and resulted in the loss of their powers, which resurfaced as Ranger Keys, which were dispersed throughout the universe.
The keys were collected by AkaRed, and later utilized by the 35th Super Sentai, the Gokaigers, a group of five people from different planets who came to Earth in search of the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. TV STORY-Ep. 1: The Space Pirates Appear After the Gokaigers landed on Earth their guide Navi told them to find,"A man dressed in black". This man turned out to be none other than Kai, now 23 years old, and calling himself "A magician who forgotten his magic" and challenged Gokai Red and Gokai Green. With assistance from Heavenly Saint Flagel, Kai helped Gokai Green realize the "true power of the Magirangers", which turned out to be courage. He revealed to Marvelous that he could only gain the Greatest Treasure in the Universe once he unlocked the greater power of the Ranger Keys. The MagiDragon was the first greater power to be granted to the Gokaigers, giving GokaiOh the ability to transform into Magi GokaiOh. TV STORY-Ep. 3: Changing Courage into Magic
After the Gokaigers finally defeated Zangyack, they returned the Ranger Keys before they left Earth to find the second Greatest Treasure in the Universe. Houka was seen receiving her Ranger Key and thanked the Gokaigers. It is assumed the rest of the Magirangers have their powers back as well. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Farewell Space Pirates
Super Hero Taisen
The five-man Magiranger team, among the majority of the Super Sentai heroes, were caught up in the "Super Hero Taisen" incident. They were presumably sent to the dimensional rift, under the pretense of being defeated, by Kamen Rider Decade while he was apparently hunting the Sentai teams. When his and Captain Marvelous' ruse was revealed, the Magirangers appeared with the other Super Sentai through the dimensional wall, they then fought alongside all the other Sentai teams and Kamen Riders against the alliance of Dai-Shocker and Dai-Zangyack. Ninninger
Tsubasa makes a guest appearance in Ninninger, where it is revealed that he tutored Yakumo Kato/AoNinger in the art of magic. Sent to track down Elena who travelled to Japan to see Yakumo on her own, he encourages Yakumo to combine his magic and ninjutsu abilities to finish off Yokai Amikiri. After the yokai's defeat, Tsubasa repairs Takaharu's Ninja Ichibantou and Yakumo's magic wand and sends Elena off with his Sky Hoki. TV STORY-Shinobi 38: The Witch Girl Loves Yakumo?
Zyuohger
The Space Pirates Return
Evidently, the Magirangers loaned their Ranger Keys - at the request of Gai Ikari - to the Gokaigers who had temporarily returned to Earth to find and bestow the Great King's Credential to the Zyuohgers. TV STORY-Ep. 28: The Space Pirates Return Their powers were returned when the Gokaigers left for space once more having achieved their quest. TV STORY-Ep. 29: The Monarch of the Monarchs
Zyuohger vs. Ninninger
MagiRed appeared as part of a conference of the first 38 Reds who addressed the Ninningers and Zyuohgers. TV STORY-Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger vs. Ninninger: Message from the Future from Super Sentai
