Later, as the Zenkaigers held a rally to gain support, Mushroom World and Ijirude met on a balcony overlooking the city where he remained confident that his plan would succeed. When Ijirude asked why almost every sentence he said had "shroom" in it, he commented that he was worried that he'd forget who he was since he was only recently transformed into a World Monster and Ijirude decided to move to Phase 2. Said phase was to unleash the mushroom's true powers, unleashing poisonous spores that would eventually kill humanity and leave the Earth open for Kikaitopia to conquer. However, Juran (who was naturally immune to the spores due to being a robot) and Kaito (who was wearing a mask) were able to confront the duo before being joined by Gaon who had decided to join the team so Mushroom World summoned Kudakks to aid them. Although they swiftly destroyed the henchmen with the Shadow Dance granted by the [[Hurricanegers]], Mushroom World snuck up on Kaito and sent him flying with a Smash Punch. Juran took him on as Gaon caught Kaito just to be sent flying by the Galactica Mushroom attack so Gaon took him on as Juran slammed into a distant balcony, quickly throwing down Mushroom World. The World Monster tossed a minivan at Gaon but he jumped over it and overwhelmed Mushroom World with his claws before tossing him into the air where Kaito jump kicked him down. They then delivered a double energy slash to Mushroom World who then fired off eye beams just for ZenkaiOh to split in half and avoid them before getting their legs around the World's neck and delivering a beat-down to his head and to flip off finish him off with the Full Moon Crash. [[Ice World]] was created when [[Mechanic Officer Ijirude|Ijirude]] installed a Tojiru Gear into the chest of a [[Kudakk]]. His objective was to turn [[Earth]] into a frozen wasteland akin to the Ice Age and render Earth an unlivable wasteland so that the Kikaitopians could take over. Barashitara watched a multi-car pileup occur because of black ice and was impressed and told him so to the World Monster's delight. When he revealed that he was given this power by the Tojiru Gear, Barashitara was surprised since he thought that Ijirude was wasting his time on that pet project. The Zenkaigers very quickly arrived transformed but completely missed out on an opening attack because they slid right past Barashitara and Ice World. They slammed into an ice pillar as the duo laughed their heads off and they fell whilst performing their Full Power Charge which got Ice World to attack. He first tried to bisect them with his ice blade but they dodged and he just destroyed a pillar of ice instead so the Zenkaigers unloaded their [[Transformation Gun Geartlinger|Geartlingers]] on him to minimal effect. Barashitara then tried to get involved but even he slipped up on the ice at which point they apparently left off-screen whilst the Zenkaigers encountered [[Magine]]. Barashitara and Ice World later returned and froze a coastal port over just to be confronted again by the Zenkaigers although they continued to slip and slide around as Barashitara boasted about how they were doomed. Once they defeated the Kudakks with the powers of the [[ToQgers]] utilized in a train charge attack, Ice World fired off a barrage of icicles which knocked them all down. However, Magine then used her magic to equip herself and the other Zenkaigers with ice skates which allowed them to overwhelm Ice World with energy slashes up his torso before [[Kaito Goshikida|Kaito]] took him down with a shockwave kick. Magine decided to take on the World Monster herself so he fired off an icicle but she blocked it with an energy shield and then played a demented version of flip cup which confused Ice World heavily so he picked one but it was the wrong one and he was shot in the back. Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo (キカイトピア王朝トジテンド Kikaitopia ōchō Tojitendo)[1], alternatively spelled Tozitend, or the Tojitendo Dynasty[2] (トジテンド王朝 Tojitendo ōchō), led by Great King Boccowaus, was the main villain group of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. They used to rule over the Kikainoids and hold Kikaitopia in a brutal, oppressive iron grip while also looking to conquer all parallel worlds, until Boccowaus and the God were defeated, and Stacy chose not to be the next heir to the Dynasty's throne, instead wanting to be a good friend.

History

Past

The Tojitendo Dynasty had ruled Kikaitopia for a very long time, being in power as early as the era of Juran's great-grandfather, whom they executed. Before Great King Boccowaus ascended to the throne, the dynasty had been headed by at least two generations of kings, all members of whom were eventually absorbed by Boccowaus.

Invading Earth

The Dynasty would eventually capture a pair of scientists from another parallel world, and Ijirude, Boccowaus's science officer, used their knowledge to create Tojiru Gears. These were then quickly used to reseal all other parallel worlds, with Kaito Goshikida's world being the only one left. However, part of Kikaitopia was transported to that world and seemingly prevented it's capture. After one month of investigation with no results, Gege suggested that they should conquer the world to expand their territory, instead of turning it into a gear. Approving the idea, Boccowaus ordered Mobile Commander Barashitara to be in charge of the invasion army.

After wreacking havoc in the city, the invasion force was stopped by a human and a Kikainoid. As Zenkaizer wiped out the grunts, Zenkai Juran enlarged and destroyed the Kudaitest called in by Barshitara. Tvicon TV STORY-No. 1-kai! The World of Kikai is Kikikaikai!

Mushroom World and Meeting Zenkai Gaon

After the initial defeat of Barashitara's forces, Ijirude began experimenting with the Tojiru Gears, eventually creating Mushroom World. However, despite the new warrior being a formidable fighter, the Zenkaigers gained another member in the form of the Kikainoid Gaon, making the invasion much harder than initially planned. Even the accidental creation of Great Mushroom World failed to stop the Zenkaigers, with the newly-formed ZenkaiOh JuraGaon quickly finishing off the titanic foe. Tvicon TV STORY-No. 2-kai! Freezing Earth and Meeting Zenkai Magine

Ice World would later be deployed under Barashitara's supervision, and despite having the initial advantage the Zenkaigers won yet again with the addition of Kikainoid Magine as the fourth member of their team, Great Ice World faring no better. Vroon, the Janitor, would be quick to notice, and ran off to alert Ijirude.Tvicon TV STORY-No. 3-kai! A Serious Witch!

Vroon the Janitor

After revealing his findings to Ijirude, Vroon found himself being relentlessly pursued by Kudakks, Ijirude putting a death warrant on his head to keep his knowledge classified. While fleeing, Vroon managed to run into the Zenkaigers' fight with Boxing World, and although they were suspicious, they took great efforts to protect him, though Vroon's curiosity made him difficult to keep low, and eventually, they were surrounded by more people influenced by Boxing World. By then having shared a lot of vital intel with the Zenkaigers, Vroon realizes that he had a better opportunity to learn with them more than with the Tojitendo Dynasty, and joined as Zenkai Vroon, the last core Zenkaiger. All five quick made short work of Boxing World and Great Boxing World, though after cleaning the Zenkaigers' home base, everyone was left in shock when he mentioned that people sharing the names of Kaito's parents had once visited Ijirude's lab. With Boccowaus growing more and more outraged with the defeat of the Worlds (and the liberation of the parallel worlds they world to capture), Sushi World was deployed to combat the Zenkaigers, incapacitating two out of the five before making his leave. The remaining Zenkaigers would then bait him into a trap, only for Barshitara to enter the fray and for the Dynasty members to pull off a double-team maneuver. Sushi World was later destroyed by the Zenkaigers he incapacitated while the other three held off Barashitara, and all five would later end Great Sushi World. Tvicon TV STORY-No. 5-kai! During Zenkaiger and Stacaesar's second fight, a mysterious individual descended from a giant half-yellow, half-blue ship that suddenly showed up in the sky, introducing himself as Zocks Goldtsuiker. After a song and dance routine, he shocked Kaito when he held up his personal Sentai Gear, and with it, transformed into the showy Twokaizer. He then fought Stacaesar for the Gears he had, but was disappointed when they weren't Sentai Gears nor even Tojiru Gears, and destroyed the Dark Sentai Gears Stacey dropped. Aftermath: The Final Battle with the God

With the god conceding defeat, he revealed to Kaito the location of the Tojiru Gear machine, allowing him to use the Zenryoku Zenkai Cannon to destroy it. Kikaitopia was then released from it's Tojiru Gear, allowing the Zenkaigers to return to Zenkaitopia. Additionally, the death of the empire's superiors and Stacy's refusal to ascend to the throne marked the end of the Tojitendo Dynasty's reign, with the Kikainoids seeking to renew and rebuild their society to be more beneficial for all. Etymology

Tojitendo's romanization, as seen in episode 24

  • The name of the Tojitendo is derived from the Japanese word 閉じる ( Tojiru), meaning to close or shut, which is in line with their modus operandi of sealing parallel worlds into the Tojiru Gears. This is also evident in their symbol, which is designed to look like a stylized "閉" kanji.
  • Plus, the "tendo" in Tojitendo is most likely a reference to the gaming company Nintendo, founded by the late Fusajiro Yamauchi. However, “Tendo” also means”Heaven/paradise/utopia”

Notes

  • The name "Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo" was first revealed in leaked production bios in December 2020, written mostly in katakana.
  • The Tojitendo Dynasty is the first Super Sentai Villain group to be all but eliminated before the final episode. Most groups are vanquished in the finale.
  • They are the first Super Sentai Villain group to not have a female member since CRIME.
