Jamenshi

This article is about a list of monsters in Mashin Sentai Kiramager.

Overview[]

Jamenshi are created when Bechats are given Evil Masks (邪面, Jamen) by Mask of Darkness Carantula.

Once created, Jamenshi then fulfill Yodonheim's goal by seeking to destroy all beautiful and amazing things on Earth. This form of destruction releases Dark Energy, and Jamenshi seek to gather enough Jamenshi to fill a gauge on Carantula's Scepter, which he then uses it to open up an Invasion Gate. Once one of these are opened, the Jamen Beast that is themed after the active Jamenshi will emerge.

Notes[]

• The term "Jamenshi" is a partial portmanteau of the Japanese words "wicked" (「邪悪な」, jāku na), "mask" (「仮面」, kamen), and "master" (「師 」, shi).
• The designs and overall nature of the Jamenshi are a homage to the Masked Monsters from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger.
  • The way the Jamenshi are named with "jamen" (邪面) at the end of their names is a callback to how the Masked Monsters were named with "kamen" (仮面), the Japanese word for “mask”, at the end of their own names, with “ja” (邪) replacing “ka” (仮).
• Despite each Jamenshi having a unique head design, they all have one of four bodies: black, red, gold, and silver.
• Jamenshi are the first monsters of the week to be upgraded from basic foot soldiers in the Reiwa Era, and the second ones to be from basic grunts overall, after the Rinshi of Juken Sentai Gekiranger.
  • They would be closely followed by the Worlds in the following season.
