The Hades Beasts (冥獣 Meijū) are the first set of monsters used by Infershia in Mahou Sentai Magiranger.
Overview[]
The Hades Beasts are all monsters themed after mythological beasts, and as a result, none of them have the ability to speak, making them akin to dangerous animals that preyed on humans.
While a majority of Hades Beasts are human-sized, certain Hades Beasts are giant sized from the start. When human-sized Hades Beasts are killed, Dark Magic Knight Wolzard used a spell that resurrected the monsters and made them grow. They emerged onto the surface through a Madou Circle.
The Three Solitary Confinement Hades Beasts (蟲毒房三冥獣 Kodokubō Sanmeijū) were stronger types of Hades Beasts, held within the Infershia Underground Hades dungeons where they were the sole survivors of a battle to the death against their fellow prisoners. As a result of being special cases like Phantom Spy Vanculia, the three Hades Beasts can travel to the surface on their own whim and enlarge themselves without Wolzard's magic. Branken unleashed them to look for the "Key" to unsealing the Hades Gate so he could emerge on the surface and become the new ruler of Infershia. This key would later be revealed to be Heavenly Saint Lunagel's death, with the general goal of the Hades Beasts was to find and kill her.
