The Earth Empire Bug Naraku (地帝国バグナラク Ji Teikoku Bagunaraku) are the secondary antagonists of Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger.[1] An evil underground empire that tried to conquer the five kingdoms 2000 years ago, but was defeated. In the present day, the Bug Naraku returns to finish where they had started in their next invasion.
After the death of Desnaraku VIII at the hands of Kamejim, Jeramie Brasieri took over the empire and reformed it into the In-between Land Bug Naraku.
History[]
Pre-series[]
Bug Naraku was allegedly an empire that existed beneath the surface of the planet Chikyu. Around 2,000 years ago, they waged a war against the people living on the planet's surface, but were defeated by the combined efforts of five heroes and the Shugods. It was later revealed that this history accord was false and made up by Prime Minister Kamejim's malicious plot and Jeramie Brasieri's misguided fable. In reality, Bug Naraku was a human-like race that co-existed with mankind on Chikyu. Kamejim manipulated both sides into conflict, and in their quest for an advantage, the Bug Naraku captured and consumed the souls of the Shugods, gradually transforming into their current monstrous form. As a result, the Shugods formed an alliance with the humans. The alliance emerged victorious, forcing the Bug Naraku to retreat underground and enter a period of exile.
During this time, a civil war broke out within the empire, which was ultimately won by Naraku King Desnaraku VIII's faction, thanks to the might of his champion Deathblow Shogun Daigorg.
King-Ohger's Beginning[]
In more recent times, driven by a prophecy, the Bug Naraku reemerged to once again attempt to take over the surface world. They began with an attack on Shugodom. 
TV STORY-Ep. 1: I am the King
Desnaraku and Kamejim appear at Nkosopa in front of Gira & Yanma as they introduce themselves to both of them and tell Yanma to hand over the Legendary Treasure which he doesn't have. Kamejim gives him a time limit until night to hand over the Legendary Treasure, when night fall comes and after Yanma declines the offer from Rcules to handover Gira to him they were interrupted by Desnaraku and Kamejim, asking Yanma to handover the Legendary Treasure or die. When Yanma declines the offer, Bodarujim appears from behind Desnaraku & Kamejim as they walk away from the scene. TV STORY-Ep. 2: A King for Whose Sake
God Kabuto[]
Desnaraku and Kamejim are inside their underground hideout growing restless about how they will obtain the Legendary Treasure and Funjim appears to volunteer himself to go to the surface and Kamejim approves his action and commands the Sanagim to head to Ishabana. TV STORY-Ep. 3: Devotion to Selfishness
As Kaguragi was showing Gira around the small village Desnaraku and Kamejim appeared, wrecking havoc in the small village as they demanded him to hand over God Kabuto to them or Desnaraku would kill the villagers. Kaguragi appears and obliges with Desnaraku of handing him God Kabuto, but in a year in which Kamejim calls out his bluff and instructs Tanijim to cause destruction which causes Kaguragi to be distraught and tells them he'll hand it over tomorrow with Desnaraku giving the condition that if he fails to hand it over, Tofu will be destroyed. When the day comes to hand God Kabuto over, Kaguragi instructs Kuroda to hand over "God Kabuto's Shugod Soul" to Desnaraku, which is revealed to be a tomato which angers him later, leaving the scene leaving the Sanagim & Tanijim to handle the King-Ohgers. TV STORY-Ep. 4: A Lordly Reception
God Scorpion and Gira's secrets revealed[]
Desnaraku begins to plan on stealing the God Scorpion Shugod Soul and Kamejim accepts the task by sending Jigokujim to distract the King-Ohgers to steal the God Scorpion Soul from Gokkan's castle which he successfully does. TV STORY-Ep. 5: The King of Winter is Coming
The Bug Naraku hijacked all the communication lines and announces their plan to takeover Chikyu by sending in 5 giant cocoons to the five nations and causing destruction. They first sent one to Shugodom as a demonstration, later in the evening a bunch of Sanagim appear to cause havoc and to speed up the awakening process of the cocoon, Kamejim appears in the battlefield holding the God Scorpion Soul and taunting Gira with it, he later encounters the other King-Ohgers which in-turn causes him to lose the God Scorpion Soul and later loosing the cocoon to King-Ohger ZERO. TV STORY-Ep. 6: Return of the Prince
After their loss of God Scorpion, Desnaraku plans on stealing God Kabuto to prevent Gira from obtaining the greatest power so Kamejim calls Gundajim for the assignment. At the outskirts of the city Gundajim begins his plan by instructing the Sanagim to cause chaos in the city while Gundajim and the remaining Sanagim grow giant to steal God Kabuto which later fails due to God Scorpion aiding in the rescue of God Kabuto. Ohkuwagata Ohger, God Hopper and Legend King-Ohger[]
After their second loss of trying to steal one of the Legendary Gods Desnaraku grows frustrated and snaps at Kamejim at his on him later Geroujim appears behind Desnaraku in the form of Kamejim surprising him later revealing himself to Desnaraku and volunteering himself to defeat Gira. He assumes the form of Yanma in an attempt to trick Gira which backfires in Geroujim's favor as he gets injected by the poison of God Scorpion, later he grows big and wrecks havoc on the city but later gets defeated by God Hopper. TV STORY-Ep. 8: King and Prince in Trial by Combat
After God Hopper appears, Desnaraku begins to move his new plan of planting the five large cocoons in the five kingdoms while defeating other 4 King-Ohgers by himself to reclaim back the surface world which he succeeds. TV STORY-Ep. 9: Gira on the Run
With all the five large cocoons planted in the five kingdoms Desnaraku awaits their awakening and also captures Gira. Later on when the cocoons hatch with the five previous Kaijim that being Danjim, Bodarujim, Funjim, Tanijim, and Jigokujim with them being powered up, Desnaraku frees Gira to show him the last moments of the surface world before being destroyed then pushing him off the mountain he was standing on. But before the five Kaijim could cause destruction to the five kingdoms, the five King-Ohgers unite their powers to form Legend King-Ohger to defeat all of the five Kaijim. With the newest loss of their empire, Desnaraku is enraged by the loss later Kamejim appears and tells Desnaraku that the preparations have been done and with that in mind he reassures himself that he will conquer Chikyu again. TV STORY-Ep. 10: The Fabled Guardian Deity
Spider Kumonos[]
After Kamejim tells Desnaraku about the preparations being done, Jeramie Brasieri appears in-front of them and introduces himself and tells Desnaraku that he can help them which Desnaraku accepts. Later Kamejim calls upon Nagabajim to cause chaos in Shugodom. In Shugodom, Jeramie steals Gira and confronts him about if the Bug Naraku are the real enemies of mankind while pointing to Nagabajim closing in on the city, after Gira defeats Nagabajim when suddenly orb like objects appear all over Legend King-Ohger and Desnaraku appears telling Gira that when they were fighting Dezutanijim in N'kosopa Nagabajim injected Legend King-Ohger with her poison, after explaining the plan all the orb like objects explode causing Legend King-Ohger to separate which Desnaraku takes the opportunity to capture all the legendary Guardian Deities inside a giant cocoon and tells the King-Ohgers to watch and see a miracle happen but nothing happened which causes confusion with the King-Ohgers and Desnaraku as to why nothing happened when suddenly Jeramie appears atop of the cocoon holding all the 3 Legendary Deities Shugod Souls. After chasing Jeramie to an open field, Desnaraku gets ensnared in his web and Jeramie inserts all the Legendary Deities' Shugod Souls into the Venomix Shooter which he uses to unlock the mask he was using and subsequently shooting Desnaraku with it which he narrowly escapes. TV STORY-Ep. 11: Mysterious! The Man in the Spider Mask
With the betrayal of Jeramie Kamejim gets frustrated but Desnaraku tells him to calm down because they have all the three legendary Shugods and their current mission is to retrieve their Shugod Souls so they can control them and take over Chikyu, Desnaraku manages to track Jeramie to Ishabana and duels him to take back the Shugod Souls from him which he fails again due to Jeramie transforming into Spider Kumonos. TV STORY-Ep. 12: The Sixth King
After suffering defeat by Jeramie Desnaraku retreats back to his underground hideout to recover from the injuries he had sustained, as he was talking to Kamejim about Jeramie he appears in their hideout to give them the God Hopper Soul and leaves without explaining anything what so ever to them which enrages Desnaraku which prompts him to ultimately decide to execute Jeramie. Suddenly from behind Desnaraku appears Geroujim telling Desnaraku to leave the job of executing Jeramie to him, both of them are confused as to who he was which he introduces himself to them again and explains the reason for him to be alive is because the giant form of him that was defeated by God Hopper was just an illusion which also makes Desnaraku mad because of him surviving baring failure instead of losing all-together. Later on Geroujim arrives in Nkosopa and disguises himself as Shiokara in order to get close to Jeramie to kill him but this plan would fail because of a mess up he did to Yanma's prank for Rcules which in-turn reveals his identity to everyone present during the same time a bunch of Sanagim appear wrecking havoc in Shugodom which the King-Ohger's take care by fighting them, after chasing Geroujim outside of the palace Jeramie sees the chaos between the Rangers and Bug Naraku which makes him angry and begins to attack the other King-Ohger's defeating them in the process and stealing all their OhgerCalibur as well. Somewhere else in the city Geroujim eats the special substance which enlarges the Bug Naraku and Kamejim appears taunting Jeramie about his hybrid status which in-turn makes him awaken God Tarantula to defeat the newly enlarged Geroujim he also sends out Guardian Pede and Guardian Cicada to beat Kamejim and reclaim the God Hopper Soul again, Jeramie enters God Tarantula and pulls out the three Legendary Shugods to takedown the enlarged Sanagim which they do it in a few seconds after dealing with the Sanagim Jeramie faces Geroujim one on one which he he comes out on top. After finishing the fight Jeramie fled the scene inside God Tarantula with the three Legendary Shugods coming with him too, at the top of the clouds it is revealed that he saved Geroujim from getting killed which confuses him which Jeramie explains his reasoning as to why he saved him.
TV STORY-Ep. 13: Angry Spider
As they are fleeing the scene Hymeno intercepts them with God Kamakiri and confronts Jeramie about Guardian Cicada and it's connection to the Wrath Of Gods Disaster that occurred as she thinks that Jeramie is the perpetrator that killed her parents. After a lengthy fight with him, Hymeno approaches Jeramie and is about to execute him but she gets stopped by Sebastian when suddenly Geroujim runs to Hymeno disguised as Sebastian as he distracts Hymeno for Jeramie to escape which he succeeds with as well as Geroujim too. Later we see Desnaraku sparring with Amejim and Desnaraku instructs him to kill the King-Ohgers and Jeramie and retrieve the Legendary Shugods later on Rita encounters Jeramie Lying on the ground barely conscious in Gokkan with Morphonia accompanying him which he later faints due to the cold temperature, Rita tells Morphonia to dig deeper into Jeramie's past. Jeramie wakes up inside the trial room trapped inside Morphonia's snowman as Rita begins their trial of Jeramie for his supposed crimes during the Wrath Of Gods which is none since he was locked up behind a cage inside a cave being shown as a spectacle to the town folk as "The Corpse That Doesn't Rot!" which is just him sleeping for one year. In Ishabana, Amejim appears causing havoc as he calls out the King-Ohgers while giving threats of killing the residence in the city and the King-Ohgers appear to save the residence, as his sight gets set on Hymeno, Gira appears to fight him as his opponent which is proven that he's too skilled for Gira when suddenly Hymeno appears and challenges Amejim to a duel which he loses due to the elegance of her movements. After defeating Amejim, Hymeno instructs Yanma to broadcast a message to tell the people to catch Jeramie when suddenly Rita appears to tell the truth to Hymeno that Jeramie is not the man behind her parents death moments later the girl from episode 3 brings Jeramie to her and what it looks like she is about to execute him she just asks him if he was present in Ishabana during the Wrath Of Gods which he answers with an honest no which Hymeno believes. Suddenly Amejim enlarges and without wasting time Jeramie calls God Tarantula and the Legendary Shugods which he lets Hymeno, Gira and Yanma pilot the Legendary Shugods as they face Amejim with the aid of Jeramie too.
TV STORY-Ep. 14: Together with Moffun
Kamejim calls upon Baejim to steal God Tarantula which he accepts meanwhile in Shugodom, Rcules calls upon Kaguragi to bring Jeramie to him. Later Kaguragi brought Jeramie to Rcules and greets him as a friend, without wasting time he asks Jeramie to arrange a meeting with Desnaraku to form a peace treaty between the humans and Bug Naraku. Later on Baejim appears in Shugodom as he begins to cause havoc in the city, after Kaguragi defeats him and Jeramie with Tarantula Knight, Jeramie and Rcules head to the Bug Naraku's hideout as Rcules and Desnaraku stand off between each other as to whether the peace treaty will happen or not.
TV STORY-Ep. 15: A Visit to Suzume
After returning from the Bug Naraku's hideout, Kaguragi asks Rcules as to what he discussed with Desnaraku to which he replies with "talking about a peace treaty". In N'kosopa a few Sanagim appear there which Gira and Yanma head out to deal with, meanwhile in Gokkan Kamejim sends out Wogerajim to kill Shiron if he was to be set free by Rita after his trial which he gladly accepts to which Jeramie appears asking Kamejim as to what happened to the peace treaty to which Kamejim replies with it being for "private matters" and leaves him in the dark. After Rita gives Shiron the verdict of not guilty, Shiron heads out on his journey to find Karras but before he could head out Wogerajim appears and begins his duty of killing Shiron which Rita quickly defeats him which Kamejim appears and gives Wogerajim the Shugod Souls to enlarge himself and resume his mission to which Jeramie appears and launches God Tarantula to dispatch Wogerajim which he succeeds in doing.
TV STORY-Ep. 16: The 10-Year-Old Chief Justice
Collaborating with Rcules Husty, Daigorg and the Ohger CrownLance[]
During Gira an Yanma's fight against the Sanagim, Rcules appears and asks Yanma to join the peace treaty in order for the Bug Naraku invasion to cease which Yanma answers with a shot to the monitor on the Monitor Demi Shugod, meanwhile Jeramie asks Rcules as to what happened with the peace treaty which Rcules responds with an annoyed tone that they're not intervening with the invasion and in return the Bug Naraku have signed a non aggression term with Shugodom and in Rcules' eyes, he is the one that will unite Chikyu. Meanwhile in the underground Bug Naraku hideout, Desnaraku begins to revive his former champion Daigorg. In Shugodom, Geroujim tells Jeramie that Desnaraku is reviving Daigorg to which Jeramie quickly heads inside Caucasuskabuto Castle to tell Rcules the story of the warring factions during the union of the Bug Naraku and the origins of Daigorg and his revival to which Rcules tells Jeramie that he's the one that supplied the technology to revive Daigorg. In Nkosopa GenjiBodarujim Attacks to which Yanma, Rita,Jeramie,& Hymeno intercept him but it was all part of Jeramie's plan to form a forced version of Extreme King-Ohger as a preventative measure against Daigorg but they first have to take care GenjiBodarujim which they dispatch quickly but suddenly Rcules appears with God Kuwagata ZERO as, separating Extreme King-Ohger and brands it as rebellion against Chikyu itself, on the ground Daigorg appears in-front of Yanma and Jeramie and they quickly try to dispatch him but it was futile as every attack that lands on him doesn't scratch him at all to which he responds a swing of his pickaxe sending both flying. Daigorg and Rcules confronts Yanma to join his peace treaty which he declines and is ready to face death for his actions which Daigorg accepts and swings his pickaxe at Yanma but in a split second Gira saves Yanma from the pickaxe and announces his revival from the depths of hell.
