- "Explode! Kagaku Sentai Dynaman! (
爆 発 !科 学 戦 隊 ダイナマン! Bakuhatsu! Kagaku Sentai Dainaman!)" - ―Dynamen announcing their arrival[src]
The Kagaku Sentai Dynaman (科学戦隊ダイナマン Kagaku Sentai Dainaman), individually known as the Dynamen (ダイナマン Dainaman), are the 7th Super Sentai, or on occasion, referred to as the 5th team. (See notes) They were originally formed by Kyutaro Yumeno, the founder of the Yumeno Invention Center, to fight the Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire.
Team History
Dynaman
Assembling Dynamen
Five selected people are invited by Kyutaro Yumeno to Yumeno First-Dream Invention Center to help with their inventions. On the way there, the five fight some henchmen before they are dropped into a sea by Crab Evo. Fortunately, they manage to survive into Yumeno Invention Center and meet Dr. Yumeno. Later, they are brought into an underground base called Dyna Station. There, Dr. Yumeno (now acting Commander Yumeno) explains about the Jashinka Empire and give them Dyna Brace to transform into Dynamen.
They take on DyJupiter to attack Jashinka's base. Then, they take off DyJupiter to fight Tail Soldiers, while DynaRed later fights Prince Megiddo. DynaRed cuts one of the prince's five tails, forcing him to flee while counting on Crab Evo. After the Dynaman easily finish Crab Evo, it grows into Super Crab Evo. This makes them utilize vehicles stored in DyJupiter to combine into Kagaku Gattai Dyna Robo, and the new robo finishes Crab Evo for good.
TV STORY-Ep. 1: The Tailed-People Clan's Challenge
Pursuing Their Dreams
After learning about the Tailed-People Clan Jashinka from Dr. Yumeno, the Dynamen fight Rhino Evo on a volcano. The fight is interrupted by Prince Megiddo's presence to seek revenge on DynaRed for slashing one of his tails. The other Dynamen have to face Megiddo's bodyguards, Gira and Keel. Suddenly, the volcano errupts, making everyone have to escape.
In Yumeno Invention Center, the Dynamen shows their own inventions to the children. Later, they undergo a physical training. Ryu helps Hokuto with his kendo training to counter Megiddo's Evil God Sword. When Dr. Yumeno approach them, they are told that they are formed not just for fight, but also to pursue each others' dreams with the children on Dr. Yumeno's lab.
Not long after, the Dynamen are back to stop Prince Megiddo's plan. They fight some tailed soldiers before DynaRed fights Megiddo and DynaBlack fights Gira and Keel. DynaRed manages to overwhelm Megiddo with a new dual sword technique he learned before. After Megiddo and his bodyguards flee, the Dynamen have to fight Rhino Evo until it is defeated. After the evolution beast undergoes Big Bang Process, the Dynamen fight it using the vehicles from DyJupiter. After the vehicles are combined into DynaRobo, they succesfully finish Rhino Evo.
Later, the Dynamen are on Yumeno Invention Center, witnessing two boys training with the Kendo Robo repaired by Hokuto.
TV STORY-Ep. 2: Warriors Who Chase Dreams
Turboranger
Dynaman come to cheer on the Turborangers.
Dynaman joined up with Battle Fever, Denzimen, Sun Vulcan, Goggle-V, Biomen, Changemen, Flashmen, Maskmen, and the Livemen, to stand behind the newest Sentai, the Turborangers, as they faced off against the Hundred Bohma Tribes.
TV STORY-Ep. 1: The Great Gathering of 10 Sentai: Counting on You! Turboranger
Gokaiger
Years later, the Space Empire Zangyack invaded Earth. This threat was so great that all of the first 34 Super Sentai, including Dynaman, were needed to oppose them. The 34 Sentai put up a valiant fight against the ground forces, but when the Zangyack fleet itself attacked them, Akarenger told everyone to combine their powers and save the Earth. This destroyed the Zangyack fleet and resulted in the loss of their powers, which resurfaced as Ranger Keys, that were dispersed throughout the universe.
The keys were collected by AkaRed, and later utilized by the 35th Super Sentai, the Gokaigers, a group of five people from different planets who came to Earth in search of the Greatest Treasure in the Universe.
TV STORY-Ep. 1: The Space Pirates Appear When the Gokaigers joined forces with the Goseigers against the revived Black Cross Führer, now known as the Black Cross King, they were addressed by Akarenger, along with several other representatives of past Sentai teams, including Rei, who told them she is sure the other Super Sentai will respond to their strength, telling to explode their rage for the sake of the future's dreams. As with the other legends present, she granted the greater power of her team to the Gokaigers.
MOVIE STORY-Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle Rei and her team presumably got their powers back when the Gokaigers returned the Ranger Keys before leaving Earth after finally defeating the Zangyack.
TV STORY-Final Ep.: Farewell Space Pirates
Super Hero Taisen
The Dynamen, alongside the Flashmen, Changemen, Biomen, and Turborangers, emerge through a dimensional wall
.
The Dynamen, among the majority of the Super Sentai heroes, were caught up in the "Super Hero Taisen" incident. They were presumably sent to the dimensional rift
, under the pretense of being defeated, by Kamen Rider Decade
while he was apparently hunting the Sentai teams. When his and Captain Marvelous' ruse was revealed, Dynaman appeared with the other Super Sentai through the dimensional wall
, they then fought alongside all the other Sentai teams and Kamen Riders
against the alliance of Dai-Shocker
and Dai-Zangyack.

Zyuohger
The Space Pirates Return
The Gokaigers made use of the Ranger Keys in their fight with the Zyuohgers and Bangray.
Evidently, the Dynamen loaned their Ranger Keys — at the request of Gai Ikari — to the Gokaigers whom had temporarily returned to Earth to find and bestow the Great King's Credential to the Zyuohgers.
TV STORY-Ep. 28: The Space Pirates Return Their powers were returned when the Gokaigers left for space once more having achieved their quest.
TV STORY-Ep. 29: The Monarch of the Monarchs
Zyuohger vs. Ninninger
The 38 Reds appear before the Ninningers and Zyuohgers.
DynaRed appeared as part of a conference of the first 38 Reds whom addressed the Ninningers and Zyuohgers.

Chou Super Hero Taisen
Iterations of the Kagaku Sentai Dynaman existed within the Game World
among a countless complement of recreated Sentai and Rider characters; DynaRed participated in the Chou Super Hero Taisen
tournament as part of Sentai All Red
.

Notes
- In reference to the show itself and the order it appears, Dynaman is considered the 7th Super Sentai Season. Later seasons such as Gokaiger and Zenkaiger also consider it the 7th. However, other Shōwa-era material such as those created circa Liveman refers to it as the 5th team, as confirmed in the first episode of Turboranger, did not consider both Gorenger & J.A.K.Q. Super Sentai seasons, just regular Sentai, due to a lack of giant robots in the Shotaro Ishinomori seasons. Both seasons would later be canonized as Super Sentai seasons during the Heisei era with Ohranger, 7 years after Liveman.
- This is the first Sentai team to have the suits be made out of spandex as opposed to the cloth suits worn by their predecessors.
- This is also the first Sentai team to lack scarves.
- They are the first team to wield sidearms that change from a blaster into a melee weapon.
- In the American parody dub, Wooshi (Hokuto), Huba (Ryu), Franky (Yosuke), Cowboy (Kosaku) and Slojin (Rei) were the names used.
- Although no true Dynaman reunion has occurred, both Junichi Haruta and Sayoko Hagiwara have appeared together twice in two separate 2010s Sentai, both playing different characters.
- In Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle, Hagiwara returns to her role as Rei Tachibana, but Haruta instead portrays Hoshikawa's immediate black predecessor, Kanpei Kuroda of Goggle-V
- In Brave 43 of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, both portray the parents of Souji Rippukan (Kyoryu Green).
