The Dimensional War Party Vyram [Citation needed]from 22 April 2023 (UTC), or Zigen-Sendan[1] Byrum[1][2] (次元戦団バイラム Jigen Sendan Bairamu) are the primary enemies of the Jetmen.
History[]
The Vyram appears as a clan of outer-dimensional nobles, who conquered many worlds in the Back Dimension, and are now moving on to Front Dimension, ours. They boast on being gods, while they despise humans and see them as stupid and worthless. Their base of operations was the Giant Demon Castle Vylock, a brain-shaped castle capable of traversing dimensions and sending its forces to Earth due to its Dimensional Transfer Machine. Upon arriving, they first destroyed Earth Ship, to prove their strength. In doing so, they gained a new member to their group, but also caused the Birdonic Waves energy to be released, striking four random humans on Earth, causing them to become Jetmen. First, they released a Dimensional Bug Mother, who fed on humans, growing its egg sack, so the Vyram could gain dimensional bugs to create Dimension Beasts. Seeing the Jetmen who would oppose them, the four leading members decided to make a game that whoever defeated the Jetmen would get the honor of being full-leadership. The, long thought dead, Empress of the Vyram, Juuza, returns to take command, causing suffering to Earth which would feed the Semimaru egg she acquired. Her reign was short lived, as both the Jetmen and the Vyram commanders opposed her. She was severely injured, and once the egg was ready to hatch, Radiguet killed the empress and took the newly hatched Semimaru into his care. He nurtured the creature until it matured. It was able to take on both Jet Icarus and the newly arrived Bird Garuda, but it was ultimately defeated by their combined power, as Great Icarus. After Semimaru was destroyed, Maria upgrades the Dimensional Bugs into Bio-Dimensional Bugs, for creating Bio-Dimensional Beasts: monsters formed from inanimate objects, infected by the bug, but also have an animal attribute as well. Eventually, one of the members, Tran, went through a transformation which resulted in him gaining much more power, and he took control of the Vyram, though the other members quietly continued to plot against him.
Tranza created a robot capable of functioning from life energy, which he named Veronica, and it was able to combat the Jetmen mecha, with little difficulty. However, sabotage from Radiguet caused the Vyram to lose the opportunity to defeat the Jetmen for good. Radiguet was put into the energy-syphoning room, so the robot could drain his energy for power. However, he began to drain the robot's energy instead, freeing himself along with the captured Jetmen, so they could defeat Tranza. Radiguet went on the run, but now with more power, and Veronica was destroyed by the Jetmen. In a final attack, Tranza hunted down the Jetmen, but Radiguet (in human form) and Ryu confronted him. After Tranza's defeat, Radiguet over threw Tranza, and broke his mind, insuring he could no longer rule the Vyram, or ever be a threat to anyone again. Radiguet then turned Maria into a more vampiric monster, but Ryu was able to bring her back, transforming into Rie. Radiguet arrived to bring her back, but she stabbed him in the back, and he in turn fatally slashed her, and she died in Grey's arms. Grey later chose to duel Gai, in which Gai won, destroying the robot commander. Finally the team confronted Radiguet, who grew into a giant monster, and absorbed Vyrock for additional armor. But when Rie had wounded him earlier, it made an opening in his otherwise impenetrable armor, and attacking that, Radiguet was finally defeated, ending the Vyram threat.

Behind the Scenes[]
The Dimensional War Party Vyram serves as the evil organization in the 15th Super Sentai Series entry Chojin Sentai Jetman (1991-92).
Notes[]
- In a scanned official magazine of Jetman, the name of the villainous group is spelled as Vyrumn.
- Vyram is different from most of the Super Sentai villain factions, they do not have history with their Super Sentai enemy prior to the start of the series
- Unlike most Super Sentai villains, Vyram lacks an actual central leadership. Thus they are prone to more infighting and sabotaging each other's schemes than most Super Sentai villains.
