The Deboth Army (デーボス軍, Dēbosu Gun) are a horde of alien monsters who were born from the cells of Dark Species Deboth, a lifeform created by the Creator Devius.

Background

Some time during the beginning of the known universe, an entity known as Creator Devius created Deboth, who wandered the cosmos and brought with him mass extinction on various worlds with the aid of heralds created from his cells: Chaos and Torin. The herald were later sent to Earth to oversee the extinction of the dinosaurs. While there, Torin gets a change of heart and instead allies himself with the Zyudenryu to fight his creator, betraying him and Chaos in the process.

Coming to Earth to destroy it personally, Deboth alongside Chaos and his other servants, Great Land Devil Gadoma, Ferocious Knight D and the Zetsumates had wreck havoc and battle against the Zyunderyu and while they cause the mass extinction and kill the Guardians, the battle also cause heavy losses on their side with Deboth's heart damaged during his fight before his body was frozen in ice as Gadoma is destroyed as it drag the dying Bragigas down with it, and the Zetsumates and D are killed by Torin and the Zyunderyu, leaving Chaos the sole survivor.

Despite of that, Chaos remain active as the leader of the army, trying to both exact revenge to Torin and revive his creator. To do that, he created servants made to collect emotional energies that human emit and later revived Zetsumates to help him in his scheme though most of them are later made inactive or forced to hiding by Torin with the help of the Spirit Kyoryugers as well as Utsusemimaru and Doctor Ulshade.

By the present day, Chaos is able to thaw out a fully amassed army with the intent to finally thaw Deboth's frozen heart and herald a new extinction era on Earth's current dominant lifeform: humans. Unfortunately for them, Torin also assembles the Kyoryugers to fight against them. Later struggling to fight against them, they would create new servants and even replacements to fight against them. Despite of their efforts, most of the Deboth Army are killed including the defected Torin with Candelila and Luckyuro defecting and surviving as Torin's replacement as the Kyoryuger's allies.

Later history

ToQger vs Kyoryugers

Creator Devius and new servant Crimson High Priest Salamaz would invade Earth, taking over the Galaxy Line Station in the process. Later turned into his sealed form after landing to Earth, he sent Salamaz to get the necessary darkness for unsealing him, prompting him to get help from the Shadow Line before betraying them when they see through the deception. While Salamaz was slain in the process, Devius finally manifest himself only to defeated by the combined efforts of the Kyoryugers, ToQgers and the Shadow Line. Taken from the memory of Gokai Red, a recreation of Chozetsushin Deboth was brought forth by Bangray among a collection of the most nefarious adversaries faced by the Super Sentai. Overwhelming Gokai Red and Zyuoh Eagle initially, Bangray's forces were matched when the Gokaigers and Zyuohgers joined their respective Red warriors. Engaging the remaining five Zyuohgers alongside "Brajira of the Messiah", "Deboth" was defeated by their combined Zyuoh Slash. TV STORY-Ep. 29: The Monarch of the Monarchs

Born from the regret of Deboth upon his defeat, Remorseful Knight Arslevan is born and learn to control time, going as far as to remove the memories of the Kyoryuger's existence to the public and reincarnate some of the previous members of the army, leading to the birth of the "leader" of the new Deboth Army, Thousand-Faced High Priest Gaos (reincarnation of Hundred Faced High Priest Chaos), his would-be fellow knight Submission Knight Sneldo (reincarnation of Raging Knight Dogold) and Jealousy Knight Hoshigaron (reincarnation of Sorrowful Knight Aigaron), and the Attacking Group of the Four Seasons (a group of Debo Monsters which includes Debo Harudamonne, Debo Natsudamonne, Debo Akidamonne, and Debo Fuyudamonne). Despite of their effort and the blunder occurring on the newly formed Kyoryugers, they were eventually destroyed by them. TV STORY-Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Returns: 100 YEARS AFTER

King-Ohger

Eight years after their initial defeat, the Deboth Army rose once again thanks to Uchu King Dagded Dujardin who installed Kabutobushin Deboth as the army's new leader. With Debo Senking's ability to absorb Brave from humans, the Deboth gained an upper hand against the Kyoryugers and managed to dominate most of Japan, forcing the remaining survivors to form an underground resistance. All Deboth Army members were designed by character designer K-SuKe with one exception, Debo Akidamonne, who was designed by Momoka Murata.

Notes

All of the Leaders, Knights, etc. are based of the characters from the Wizard of Oz novel.
- Deboth is based on The Wizard of Oz as well as his apperances on different perspectives.
- Candelilla is based on Dorothy Gale.
- Aigaron is based on Tin Woodsman.
- Dogold is based on the Cowardly Lion.
- Luckyuro is based on the Scarecrow.
- Endolf is based on Wizard of Oz's fireball form depicted to the Cowardly Lion and Finley the Flying Monkey.
- D is based on Toto.
- Arslevan is based on the China Princess.
- Devius is based on the Wicked Witch of the West.
- Icerondo is based on the Munchkin coroner.
- Killborero is based on the Munchkin mayor.
Most of the Knights and the sole Spy have the first syllable of their name with the same pronunciation as their title.
