Yodonheim and their overlord in the opening theme song

Carantula led the invasion and attacked the Crystalia Kingdom with an army of Bechats. King Oradin hides his daughter, Princess Mabushina and faces the army's arrivals. But despite King Oradin’s best efforts, he was slashed at and killed by his brother, Galza and his lifeless body was carried away by Bechats; thus, the Crystalia Kingdom had fallen. Later, Galza joined the Dark Empire Yodonheim as he put on his new helmet and armor, proclaiming himself to be the Demonic General of Betrayal. Behind the Scenes

Notes

  • The Dark Empire Yodonheim is the first Sentai Villain Group since the Space Empire Zangyack from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger to use the word "empire" in its name.
    • Perhaps coincidentally, both Villain Groups were featured in series which had Naruhisa Arakawa as the main director.
  • Yodonheim's name could be a portmanteau derived from demon ( yo), and Jotunheim (ヨツンへイム) .
  • Yodonheim is the first Villain Group of the Reiwa Era with more than 1 Monster Group.
