This article is about a/an a collection of comics with characters and concepts in the Power Rangers franchise.

As with most superheroes, the Power Rangers had spawned several of their own comic series. This is to list the comics and give the story. The maxi-series has been under the banner of almost every major comics publisher at some point in its history. This includes the current run of Power Rangers comics by Boom! Studios that began in 2016.

Hamilton Comics (1994-95)[]

Main article: Power Rangers (Hamilton Comics)

Hamilton Comics was the first publisher to produce Power Rangers licensed comics with a one year run from 1994 to 1995.

Marvel Comics (1995-96)[]

Main article: Power Rangers (Marvel Comics)

Marvel Comics became the first big name publisher who obtained the rights to Power Rangers. Marvel produced comics from 1995 until 1996, when the line of comics was cancelled.

Image Comics (1996)[]

There was only one issue of Zeo before it was cancelled, thus leaving a cliffhanger unresolved.

Acclaim/Valiant (1997)[]

Acclaim/Valiant briefly published comics based on Power Rangers Turbo in 1997.

Tokyopop (2003-04)[]

Tokyopop published a series of "Ameri-manga" photo comics based on Power Rangers Ninja Storm and Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

Disney Adventures (2003)[]

Main article: Disney Adventures

The monthly children's magazine Disney Adventures published a comic based on Power Rangers Ninja Storm in 2003.

Jetix Magazine (2004-2009)[]

Future Publishing published a magazine from 2004-2009 based on the Jetix television programming brand which included comics based on Power Rangers Ninja Storm, Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Power Rangers S.P.D., and Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.[1]

Bandai (2008)[]

Main article: Bandai

Bandai had a promotional ashcan comic based on Jungle Fury published. It was included as a bonus bundled with select toys from the Jungle Fury toy line.

UK Power Rangers Magazine (2005-10, 2012-15, 2020-21)[]

Egmont Group published a magazine featuring puzzles, articles and comic strips from the Power Rangers series from 2005-2010. The magazine was revived under publisher Panini Comics in 2012 to tie in with Power Rangers Samurai, Power Rangers Megaforce, and Power Rangers Super Megaforce. The magazine was revived again in 2020 to tie in with Power Rangers Beast Morphers.

Papercutz Comics (2012-14)[]

Papercutz published a series of comics based on Power Rangers Super Samurai, Power Rangers Megaforce, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from 2012-2014.

Boom! Studios (2016-present)[]

Boom! Studios is the latest publisher of Power Rangers comics, with comics being published from January 2016 to the present. Boom! has also collaborated with various comic book publishers to co-produce crossovers with the Mighty Morphin team.

DC Comics (2017)[]

Boom! Studios co-produced the Justice League/Power Rangers crossover with DC Comics.

IDW Publishing (2019-present)[]

Boom! Studios co-produced multiple crossovers with IDW Publishing.

Dark Horse Comics (2024)[]

Boom! Studios co-produced the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Usagi Yojimbo crossover with Dark Horse Comics.

Notes[]

  • The Power Rangers Zeo one-shot (though planned as a series) advertised a 2 issue comic which would crossover the Zeo Rangers with Image Comics' Youngblood.
  • Writer Amit Bhaumik considered Ninja Rangers #3 canon as he explained that Jason would claim the morpher from Osamu Tezuka, thus explaining how he morphed in Forever Red.
  • The special Saban Power Rangers/Beetleborgs Metallix was the closest teamup to Beetleborgs and Power Rangers crossover ever.
