Super Megaforce Rangers as Black Rangers

The Black Ranger is a designation given to several Power Rangers characters. Black Rangers are often part of the core Ranger team. When the Black Ranger is not in the core five Rangers, this position is usually taken by a Green Ranger, excluding Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Turbo, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers Jungle Fury, Power Rangers RPM, and Power Rangers Dino Charge which feature both. Dino Charge is the first time that the Black Ranger replaces a Yellow Ranger. There has never been a female Black Ranger in the TV show, excluding Legendary Ranger Mode in Super Megaforce.

Main Black Rangers

These are Rangers who belong on the main team, and are protagonists of the show. They are also the first to appear as that specific color designation for the team.

These are Rangers that exist in alternate or expanded versions of the main canon, or in past/future points in time of the main canon.

Chronological List of Black Rangers

Zack Taylor (Walter Jones) and Adam Park (Johnny Yong Bosch) are the first and second Black Power Rangers in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
- A Putty Patroller is the Black Mutant Ranger. The putty was given the Black Badge of Darkness and served as Rita Repulsa's counterpart to the Black Power Ranger in episode "Mighty Morphin Mutants".
- The shape-shifting monster, Primator, assumed the form of the Black Ranger in the episode, The Wanna-Be Ranger.
- Zane is the Dark Black Ranger. He was unwillingly transformed by Lord Zedd in episode "Green No More, Part I", who sought to create his evil counterpart of the Black Power Ranger.
- Abraham (Johnny Yong Bosch) is the ancestor of Adam Park from the year 1880 and was the Black Wild West Ranger when Kimberly Hart was transported through time and had to fight a monster in the past.
- Adam Park was also the Black Ninja Ranger in the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
- Cenozoic era Black Ranger is the first Black Power Ranger in Power Rangers (2017), though we don't see the character who uses the Black Ranger Powers.
- Zack Taylor (Ludi Lin) is the second Black Power Ranger in Power Rangers (2017).
Corcus (Alan Palmer) is the Black Alien Ranger in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers. Took part in the final battle against the United Alliance of Evil.
The Phantom Ranger is a mysterious warrior who aids the Rangers in Power Rangers Turbo. Took part along with Blue Senturion in the final battle against the United Alliance of Evil.
Carlos Vallerte (Roger Velasco) is the Black Space Ranger in Power Rangers: In Space. Carlos was formerly the second Green Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers: Turbo.
- Psycho Black (Michael Maize) is the Black Psycho Ranger in Saban's Power Rangers: In Space. He served as Astronema's evil counterpart to the Black Space Ranger and later as the evil counterpart to the Green Galaxy Ranger. His alternate form is a rock monster with rock-like tentacles.
Danny Delgado (Jack Guzman) is the Black Bison Ranger in Power Rangers: Wild Force.
Dr. Thomas "Tommy" Oliver (Jason David Frank) is the Black Brachio Ranger in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder.
Anubis Cruger (John Tui) is the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger in Power Rangers: S.P.D.. His suit has the attributes of a black ranger, at the same time, metallic blue.
Will Aston (Samuell Benta) is the Black Overdrive Ranger in Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive.
Jungle Fury Bat Ranger transforms from the Bat Animal Spirit in Power Rangers: Jungle Fury.
Dillon (Dan Ewing) is the Ranger Operator Series Black (Ranger Black) in Power Rangers R.P.M..
Jake Holling (Azim Rizk) is Megaforce Black in Power Rangers Megaforce.
