The Third Formation (第3の合体 Daisan no Gattai) is the fifth episode of Mirai Sentai Timeranger. It reveals the backstory of Yuri/TimePink and the final combination of the TimeJets, TimeJet Gamma. It also begins to reveal a more sinister side to Don Dolnero's Londerz partner, Gien, which will lead to future events for the season.
Synopsis
The criminal who killed Yuri's family is released from Londerz; and TimePink wants to kill him no matter what the cost.
Plot
The episode begins with Gien releasing Mad Blast, the hitman Dolnero hired to murder Yuri's family. Meanwhile, the pink ranger is working on an odd job with her teammates when Mad is assaulting the city, destroying Lira's shopping in the process.
The sound of Blast's clinking spurs & the sight of a bracelet worn by her father triggers bad memories of her family's death, leading her to viciously attack & nearly kill the hitman before being stopped by Ayase.
When Mad Blast makes a return, Yuri is the first one to reach him & swiftly takes him down, seemingly ready to pull the trigger until Mad reveals that Don Dolnero gave the order to kill Yuri's family.
After the battle with TimeRobo Alpha, the rangers go back to cleaning the building after Yuri asks for help.
