Ayase Retires!? (アヤセ脱退!? Ayase Dattai!?) is the fortieth episode of Mirai Sentai Timeranger. It is the conclusion of the two-part story involving Ayase's Osiris Syndrome being revealed to the other Timerangers, as well as the conflict this knowledge causes.
Synopsis[]
As Tatsuya reveals the truth of Ayase's condition to the other Timeranger, they must determine whether his terminal condition is a liability for the completion of their mission in the past.
Plot[]
The rest of the team (along with Naoto who overhears them) has now learned Ayase's secret, he is slowly dying from Osiris Syndrome, while Don Dolnero punishes Gien for his treachery. Meanwhile, the City Guardians have finally finished recreating the vaccine for the Reda Virus but the Londerz Family plans to steal it as their only reason to provide them with the vaccine was to steal and profit off it. The team heads out to stop them but without Ayase. Is this his end as a member of the Timerangers?
