The Time Fugitives (時の逃亡者 Toki no Tōbōsha) is the first episode of Mirai Sentai Timeranger. It is the opening episode of the two-part opening storyline of the season.
Synopsis[]
Four recruits of the Time Defense Bureau are tricked into sending themselves and an infamous criminal one-thousand years into the past; leading to them teaming up with a man of this era to stop him as the Timeranger.
Plot[]
By the year 3000, the Earth had reached an era of newfound prosperity. United with various races from other planets, space and time travel became possible. Ten years after the invention of the first time machine, the Time Defense Bureau already had its mission to preserve history and prevent time travel; constant time travel had endangered the 30th century in the past and the Bureau existed as a precaution.
