Cars Attacks is the fifteenth episode of Power Rangers Turbo.

Synopsis[]

The monster Wolfgang Amadeus Griller manipulates the automobiles of Angel Grove to fly around and destroy the city after the Rangers successfully destroy one of Divatox's detonators. Meanwhile, Kat teaches Lt. Stone's niece Jenny Hunter to learn to trust other people.

Plot[]

A dark-haired woman is dancing alone in the Juice Bar when Kat enters. Kat watches her in awe until she is noticed. Kat is interested in the woman’s dance routine, but the latter brushes her aside and walks out of the room without saying a word. The woman walks past Stone, who calls her Jenny. Stone tells Kat that Jenny is his niece who came to Angel Grove for the summer. Stone says his sister has trouble getting through to Jenny and hopes he could give her a firm hand. Stone hopes that Jenny will adjust to her new surroundings soon, which Kat can relate to as she was in her shoes before.

A few days later, Kat and Tanya go to a Royal Academy dance audition the former has been training months for. Kat is nervous because this was her dream school, though Tanya gives her comfort and tells Kat to give it her all. Kat does her audition in front of the judges, though the final candidate, Jenny, arrives late. Jenny is forced to audition on the spot and does the same routine Kat saw. Jenny’s dance routine sparks interest in Kat and Tanya, but the rest of the candidates are not due to the choice of style she uses. Still, Jenny makes the final cut alongside Kat, bringing in controversy from the rest of the crowd as she leaves in a huff.

Seeing this from her submarine, Divatox gives Porto specific instructions for her newest plan.

Back at the Juice Bar, Stone struggles to balance the books of the profits. Seeing this, Monkey Bulk and Skull decide to help to get their identities revealed.

Elgar and the Piranhatrons confront Kat and Tanya outside the dance hall, leading the two female Rangers to fight them.

While their distracted, Elgar sneaks into the dance hall and places a detonator disguised as a music player. According to Porto, it will detonate once the counter reaches 100.

Back outside, the Blue Senturion arrives to help Tanya and Kat deal with the Piranhatrons, turning the tide in their favor. As the Piranhatrons retreat, the Blue Senturion takes his leave.

At the Juice Bar, Stone is stressed out on the job and accidentally serves Tommy and Adam glasses with no drinks in them. He tells them that the cash receipts are missing and suspects if Jenny took them under his nose. When he confronts her about it, Jenny denies taking it and is offended that Stone would accuse her of doing such a thing. As Jenny storms out, Kat and Tanya walk into the Juice Bar and catch the males up on what happened. They realize that Divatox planted a detonator in the dance hall and go out to find it.

Unknown to them, Divatox overheard them and gets an unexpected guest come to her submarine. The being introduces himself as Wolfgang Amadeus Griller, a self-proclaimed conductor that can bring life to anything. Before Elgar could throw Wolfgang out, Divatox takes an interest in the monster and says she might have a job for him.

The Rangers enter the Power Chamber as Justin finishes charging the Turbo Navigators to help find the detonator. However, the alarm goes off as they see Wolfgang Amadeus Griller use his powers to control a sea of cars and use them to cause chaos. The Rangers are forced to put the hunt for the detonator on hold and confront Wolfgang.

They morph and teleport down to the downtown area. The cars attack the Rangers as they struggle on the overwhelming numbers. Tommy summons the Turbo R.A.M., and the Rangers pull out their Turbo Weapons. Adam and Justin fire with the Turbo Thunder Cannon and Turbo Hand Blasters, overwhelming Wolfgang and forcing him back. Then, the Rangers form the Turbo R.A.M. Cannon and fire a fully charged blast. The blast manages to force Wolfgang to lose control of the cars.

Seeing this, Divatox orders her minions to fire the torpedoes. Unfortunately, none of them are loaded as Elgar and Rygog decided to give them a polish, much to Divatox’s irritation.

As punishment, Divatox orders Elgar and Rygog to help Wolfgang Amadeus Griller with an army of Piranhatrons. The trio blast at the Rangers, and the fight resumes. As Tommy gets cornered by Wolfgang, the Blue Senturion teleports down to help his friend. The two fire at Wolfgang with the Auto Blaster and the Synergizer Blaster Mode, successfully destroying the monster. With Wolfgang destroyed, Rygog and Elgar retreat as the Blue Senturion takes his leave again. Afterwards, the Rangers run back to the dance hall to stop the detonator from exploding.

The auditions continue at the dance hall as the counter slowly gets to 100. The Rangers burst into the room, and Tommy finds the detonator, nearly at 100. Kat sprints out of the building and tosses the detonator outside. It explodes, but everyone is safe. However, Jenny, who was doing her audition when the Rangers entered, storms out. A demorphed Kat checks on the judges and prepares for her audition.

Later that day, the judges summon Kat and Jenny as the final candidates for the Royal Academy. Despite showing promise in her dancing abilities, Jenny loses out to Kat due to her rude attitude. While Kat is proud to have done well in the auditions, she goes outside to talk with Jenny. Kat tells Jenny that she may not want to be friends with her because of her rude attitude and alienation from others, but she tells the latter to trust others if she wants to get ahead.

As the Rangers celebrate Kat’s success at the Juice Bar, she is conflicted about going as it would mean leaving her Ranger duties. Still, the Rangers tell Kat not to give up on her dreams, with even Tanya saying that she still could go back to singing despite giving up a record deal earlier. Meanwhile, Monkey Bulk and Skull return with the cash receipts, and Stone sees them. He apologizes to Jenny for his rash conclusion, and the two make up.
