Brad Hawkins

Brad Hawkins is an actor who played Ryan Steele in VR Troopers, on which he co-starred with Sarah Brown. He voiced the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo.

He was originally cast to be the White Ranger in season 2 of MMPR, when Jason David Frank was filming the pilot for Cybertron (which became VR Troopers). The plan was that after a few episodes of the White Ranger appearing, Brad's character would take off the helmet and reveal himself - these episodes had ADR work done. At the last second, before he was fitted for costumes and filming began, the producers came to him and gave him the choice of either being the White Ranger or the lead on VR Troopers. Hawkins jumped at the chance to have his own show rather than be 'another colour'.
