This article is about a/an actor in Power Rangers Zeo, the second installment in the Zordon Era.

Brad Hawkins is an actor and voice actor who played Ryan SteeleIcon-crosswiki in VR TroopersIcon-crosswiki, on which he co-starred with Sarah Brown. He voiced the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo.

He was originally cast to be the White Ranger in season 2 of MMPR, when Jason David Frank was filming the pilot for CybertronIcon-crosswiki (which became VR Troopers). The plan was that after a few episodes of the White Ranger appearing, Brad's character would take off the helmet and reveal himself - these episodes had ADR work done. At the last second, before he was fitted for costumes and filming began, the producers came to him and gave him the choice of either being the White Ranger or the lead on VR Troopers. Hawkins jumped at the chance to have his own show rather than be 'another colour'. [1][2] His original role was referenced in the gag dub of VR Troopers, which were recorded by the main cast of the show.

Archive recording of Hawkins was used in the Power Rangers Dino Thunder episode "Legacy of Power".

Hawkins also voice acts for Funimation and starred alongside Johnny Yong Bosch in Trigun: Badlands Rumble. Hawkins has also had roles in A Certain Scientific Railgun, D. Gray-man, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece, and most recently Goblin Slayer as the titular protagonist.
