Design[]
- Bomb Monster was designed by character designer Ryuu Noguchi.
- "If I had a color manuscript, I would recall more, but as I recall, this one has a camouflage body. The mouth part is based on a gas mask. In the rough draft, the head was in the shape of a transparent capsule, but that's a bit tasteless impressionistically. If we are talking about a bomb maniac, a hand grenade would be more like it, so that's why we changed it. I drew a mine with the weapon he was carrying, and in the rejected rough, there was a necklace of hand grenades connected like beads, but persistently layering motifs is one of the moves I often use (laughs).” (Noguchi)
