- Billy's Ranger Name is similar to the original Bioman from 1984.
- Billy's last name actually came from Bryan Cranston.
- Billy's name was never changed, as in the Saban Era, they kept the name "Billy Cranston" for the Blue Ranger (a counterpart of Dan/TriceraRanger) in Mighty Morphin from 1993.
- Billy's personality as an athlete is a contrast to his future 1993 counterpart's more intelligent type.
