The Beast War was an ancient conflict that took place between evil warriors who commanded animal spirits and the Order of the Claw that protected humanity. The beast forces are known to have been divided into at least two competing factions: Dai Shi's army, including the Overlords, and the Phantom Beasts. The war concluded with Dai Shi's imprisonment, the fall of the Overlords and Masters Rilla, Guin, and Lope, and the changing of the Phantom Beast Generals into Crystal Eyes.
Trivia
The name of this conflict is also famous as the name of a Transformers spinoff, "Beast Wars", coincidentally created by Hasbro long before it acquired the Power Rangers license.
