Plot[]
Bun Bun is making curry like usual but he seems sad for some reason, Mira and Jyo hear him sighing and stop their game of Rock Paper Scissors to check on him. Bun Bun almost lets the curry burn by being distracted, but Mira snaps him out of his funk long enough to turn off the burner. The two ask Bun Bun what is wrong while Taiya and Ishiro oversee the modifications of two construction Boonboom Cars. Jyo says that it is okay to worry about something, he sometimes worries about his savings or what he will be doing with his life after he retires from the police force at an old age, with both sometimes keeping him up at night worrying about it. Mira guessed that it has something to do with love, which Bun Bun confirms, shocking everyone.
Bun Bun shows a picture of the mascot for Nimaji Tires, Belora. Mira thinks it’s more of a fan’s appreciation for her, Bun Bun agrees and Mira offers to go to a fan event with him to meet Belora. Bun Bun is excited, but Ishiro points out that the alien can’t go outside because people would freak out seeing him. Jyo promises to escort Bun Bun safely to the event and Mira decides to create a disguise for Bun Bun so he can attend incognito. Taiya can’t come with them as he has to finish the modifications and do an errand.
Bun Bun goes outside with Mira and Jyo, now dressed in a trench coat, wig, hat and sunglasses, unnerving some people and getting stares as he walks by. He almost trips over but otherwise is in a good mood.
In a residential area back alley, Mad Rex is resting on a recliner in the trash and thinks about Bun Red and the fight he had with him last time, saying that he hasn’t had a fight that good in a while. With him facing his head towards the sky, Decotrade thinks that his boss is looking at something up there that he can’t see, Itasha thinks Mad Rex is just in a good mood. Decotrade hopes this means that they will not get chewed out by the boss today, only for Mad Rex to try to strike them with his Hot Deathrod with Itasha using Yaiyai as a shield to block it. Yaiyai complains about it as his two companions look over his injured head with Yaiyai attacking Decotrade.
Mad Rex’s dog detects an object that can be used for a Kuramaju: A cinder block wall. Mad Rex rewards his pooch with treats and orders Itasha to do to the honors, inserting her Ignition Key into the wall to create the Block Wall Grumer. Mad Rex plans on taking care of the Boonboomgers, ordering his subordinates to help Block Wall Grumer collect Ghassolin and leaves. Decotrade and Itasha salute their boss and then have to help Block Wall, who got stuck in the entryway to the alley.
At a quarry, Genba makes a delivery to a construction worker, who thanks him and gifts him a green tea with two lollipops attached to it. He sees Taiya and Ishiro, with Taiya offering Genba a Boonboom Change Axe especially made for him. Genba refuses, telling him he has already said that he is not interested in fighting, he is content working in procurement. He gives the team items that they need, helps them develop as a team and watches them fight to see the outcome. Taiya appreciates Genba’s service as he has gone above and beyond his expectations, but offers him a front row seat to all the action and hopes to crank up his spirits. But he won’t force the issue if Genba refuses, just notes that the team is improving and wonders if Genba will be able to keep up with them. Taiya gets in the car with Ishiro and drives off, leaving Genba holding the briefcase containing his changer.
As Taiya drives, Ishiro asks him why the sudden interest in Genba. But before an answer can be given, Mira contacts them about the rampaging Block Wall Grumer, who is disrupting the Belora meet and greet event and generates a wall to block fans from seeing her. Bun Bun is upset about this, but focuses on evacuating the civilians while Jyo and Mira chase after the monster. The block wall bully then traps lost children inside the center where their parents come to pick them up, with a mother panicking that she can’t get to her son. Block Wall Grumer then prevents a delivery worker from doing his job by blocking his way and enters a food court and blocks everyone from enjoying their meals, then traps them in a prison made of walls to get them to scream and absorbs their Ghassolin. The Trio cheer on Block Wall while eating and drinking stuff that they stole from the humans trapped inside.
Mira and Jyo finally catch up and change, but get humiliated by the monster tripping them and generating a wall that they crash into. Block Wall then tries to trap the two inside three more walls surrounding them, which Genba witnesses and tries to help by getting ready to send out a trampoline, but Taiya and Ishiro arrive already transformed and blast the walls apart with their weapons. Taiya instructs his team to focus on breaking their opponent’s defense, with Block Wall summoning Neijiretta to stop the Rangers. The others focus on the grunts while Taiya goes straight for Block Wall, who tries the same trick of generating a wall for his foe to run into, only for Taiya to jump and do a backflip, then boosts Jyo over the wall to strike Block Wall with his blade. Jyo, Ishiro and Mira execute their unique attacks on their opponent, using their skills to go around the monster’s walls to hit him. Taiya goes in to attempt to land the finishing blow, only for Mad Rex crash in through the ceiling and knock him away. He then knocks all the Rangers down with his Hot Deathrod using Block Wall’s cinder blocks to deflect and barrage the Rangers with drill bullets.
Genba brings out a large mirror to try and help, but Taiya orders his team to form up in a circle to protect each other and destroy the oncoming projectiles. Genba sees this and realizes that Taiya is right and the team is starting to grow beyond his ability to keep up.
Mad Rex is impressed with the crew that Bun Red is with, but he is ready to scrap them all, powering up his Hot Deathrod for its ultimate attack. The Rangers try to counter it with the Bakuage Handling Drive, but the attack goes right through their projectiles and hits all of them, knocking them out of their transformations. With everyone in danger, Genba comes out and faces Mad Rex, commending the Boonboomgers for making it this far and evolving as a team. He offers Taiya the delivery of himself, promising that he will fight alongside the team and push them past their current limits, changing into Bun Orange alongside the others.
The team does their first full roll call, which Bun Bun witnesses and gets excited about, but realizes that he needs to head back to the garage to get the Boonboom Cars ready, discarding his disguise and heading off.
Genba handles Block Wall Grumer, Mira and Jyo take care of the Nejiretta while Taiya faces off against Mad Rex. Genba uses his boot wheels to propel himself out of a crushing wall trap, leaping over it to strike Block Wall.
Taiya uses a boost to turn himself into a human drill to damage Mad Rex, with Block Wall trying to interfere only to be destroyed by Genba’s Boonboom Axe Drive. Seeing the large gash on his chest, Mad Rex laughs insanely and vows to Bun Red that he will pay for damaging the body he takes such pride in, using one last drill projectile attack to escape that Taiya and Genba destroy. The Trio are in disbelief that their boss could be harmed by the Rangers, but Yaiyai goes berserk again and heads into Highway Space. Taiya gives Genba two new mini cars, asking if he is going back to the sidelines after all this, Genba says he can’t after hearing Taiya’s passionate plea for help. Mira is excited seeing the new vehicles, taking Boonboom Dozer with Jyo riding shotgun while Genba rides in Boonboom Shovel and Taiya and Ishiro ride in Boonboom Trailer.
Decotrade watches the new vehicles and says that a vehicle with a job always looks tough, with Itasha encouraging Yaiyai to be careful and win the race. Yaiyai tries to barrel through traffic cones to throw the Rangers off his tail, but Boonboom Dozer simply plows through them and then Genba uses Boonboom Shovel to toss Yaiyai out of Highway Space. Yaiyai falls to the ground and hits his head after ejecting the Ghassolin while Block Wall Grumer revives.
The team decides to combine their new vehicles, forming Boonboomger Robo Builder. Block Wall Grumer tries to put Bun Bum in a hold and when that doesn’t work, he throws cinder blocks at him, which Bun Bun deflects with his hammer. Frustrated, Block Wall Grumer uses his Giant Block technique to create a huge wall that he stands on top of. The wall is too sturdy to smash with the hammer, so Ishiro suggests that they search for a weak point, with Genba activating the headlamp on Boonboomger Robo Builder to scan for the wall. Bun Bun detects one block that is weaker than the others and smashes it, then sends the wall tumbling down with every swing of his hammer. With no blocks to defend himself, Block Wall Grumer is left naked and is smashed by the Bakuage Hammer: Boonboom Crash attack. Before he is destroyed, Block Wall says a haiku as his parting words. The Trio criticize Block Wall’s haiku and vow revenge for what happened to their boss.
Genba is formally welcomed into the garage by everyone, but he says he has something he needs to do before moving in, but won’t tell anyone what it is. Bun Bun is sad he didn’t get to meet Belora, but Mira went to the trouble of getting him a Belora plush toy and promises that they will see her next time. Bun Bun thanks her, showing off the plush and declaring his love for Belora. Taiya, Jyo and Ishiro don’t seem to understand the appeal given what Belora looks like but Genba agrees that she looks cute. Taiya smiles, happy everyone is getting along.
