Bakuage 46: The Future is in Your Hands (未来をこの手に Mirai o Kono-te ni) is the forty-sixth episode of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. It is the third part of the Boonboomger endgame, featuring the debut of Yaiyai Yarucar's Kurumaju form.
Synopsis[]
Boonboom's body begins to crumble like sand. At the same time, the voice of "The Boonboomgers are the enemies of the earth!" continues to be heard, and Jyo is forced to make a choice as a police officer. What's more, Yaiyai Yarucar turns into a bitter Kurumaju and attacks the Boonboomgers...!?
Plot[]
Continuing from the previous episode, a flashback begins with Boonboom crashing on Earth. Taiya searches the crash site and finds a disco-ball-like object. Back on the base, Taiya shows it to Bundorio after fixing him up, realizing that Bundorio isn't its owner and that it might've been unearthed when Bundorio crashed. Bundorio decides to keep it anyways, since its warm and powerful.
Back in the present day in the warehouse, Genba thinks that the object is a crystallized materialization of the planet's life energy. Since it's the object that Princess Nicola told them that could revive Bundorio, the Boonboomgers decide to go to Taiya's house to retrieve it. All of the sudden, Jyo and the others notice Bundorio's body disintegrating. Byun-D asks Taiya to connect him to Bundorio, as since both of them are of the same species, Byun-D's energy would help to stabilize him until the Boonboomgers recover the energy source. Sakito nods in approval as Taiya asks from Genba to retrieve the object from his ISA-occupied house. Genba agrees with Jyo accompanying him, but when Mira asks them to join as well, Genba asks her to stay behind and support Taiya and Bundorio. Sakito quickly rushes to join Jyo and Genba as well.
Elsewhere, Decotrade expresses his worries about Waruido Spindo after witnessing him disposing of Disrace, wondering if Spindo valued MadRex the same way. Yarucar says that despite that, Spindo said that he likes their way of acting (at least according to Grantu Risk), with Itasha adding that invading the Earth was what MadRex wanted. Suddenly, a strange noise causes Yarucar to go berserk, so Decotrade and Itasha follow him and find him sitting in front of Grantu. Grantu reveals that he has the ability to control all of the Yarucars in the universe, and that an army of elite ones are making their way to Earth. The Yarucars' instinct to swallow Ghassolin is a command issued by Spindo, but because of the modifications that Cannonborg gave him, Yaiyai is distinctive from the others. He then inserts his Ignition Key into Yarucar, transforming him into Kurumaju Grumer. Decotrade and Itasha are confused since they thought that Kurumaju are supposed to be created from things that cannot race, but Grantu scolds them that because of their low track record, they're barely racing themselves. He says that if they defeat the Boonboomgers, he'll ask Spindo to promote them to become Hashiriyan's raid team captains. A motivated Kurumaju Grumer agrees, with his hesitated partners following suit.
Back at the warehouse, Taiya begins transferring Byun-D's energy to Bundorio, which manages to stop his disintegration. Byun-D says that he can give Bundorio his parts if that's needed to revive him. The Boonboomgers then receive a call from Shirabe, who updates them that governments around the world have ordered Boonboom Killer Robos from the ISA to use as peacekeeping units. The belief that the Boonboomgers are evil and the Hashiriyans are good keeps growing. She says that Ishiro told them that no one wants the truth anymore, instead choosing to believe in the convenient lies that the ISA and the Hashiriyans spread. Taiya says that Ishiro can say what he wants to, confusing Mira who's frustrated at the world for believing the Boonboomgers to be evil. Shirabe is frustrated too and that she's a Boonboomger in heart too. She then decides that if she can't confront director Tokoyari, then she'll instead confront Raita Naito.
At Spindo's base, Raita expresses concern at the footage of the Yarucars making their way to Earth, thinking it to be an all-out attack. Spindo tells him that they're simply delivering him Ghassolin, and when Raita tells him that there's already a lot of it on Earth, Spindo says that he's missing the taste of Ghassolin from other planets.
Jyo, Genba and Sakito arrive at Taiya's house, which is surrounded by the police and ISA soldiers. Genba asks Sakito and Jyo to act as decoys before sneaking inside the house. the two of them approach the soldiers, with police officer Keisuke Asada recognizing Jyo. The ISA soldiers charge at the Boonboomgers and a fight begins. Jyo is grabbed by Keisuke, who apologizes and tells him that he's just following orders. Jyo says that these orders are unjust. Suddenly, Maimi Baisu arrives and shoots upwards, telling Jyo that as a police officer he should obey them or else he'll face the consequences. Jyo says that the ISA have lost sight of justice because they're manipulated by the Hashiriyans.
Genba successfully manages to sneak into the Boonboomgers' base and finds the energy source with the help of Nicola's pendant. Ishiro appears behind him and they start fighting. Back outside, Maimi tells Jyo that he's the one who's wrong, and that only those in power can determine what's justice, which she believes to be the future that the ISA will make by cooperating with the Hashiriyans. Jyo says that even if time will call that justice, he'd rather not turn a blind eye at screams of help, even if it comes at the cost of quitting the police. Suddenly, the Sanseaters arrive and use Kurumaju Grumer's Gyahstumize ability to attack all of them. Jyo and Sakito protect the ISA and the police, but Maimi asks them to retreat and let the Hashiriyans take care of the Boonboomgers. Jyo and Sakito then transform to fight the Kurumaju. Meanwhile, Genba continues fighting Ishiro but manages to keep him away with a barbed wire.
Kurumaju Grumer attacks the Boonboomgers with Wedding Dress and Neon Gyahstumize, but suddenly starts overheating as his eyes turn purple. He begins attacking the Boonboomgers with a barrage of Gyahstumize abilities, until they're saved by Genba. Genba asks Sakito to deliver the object back to Taiya before transforming and joining Jyo. Jyo transforms them into Champion Boonboomgers before resuming the fight with Kurumaju Grumer. Yarucar keeps overloading, and Jyo and Genba worrying that he'll explode and take a chunk of the city with him, a fact that also worries Decotrade and Itasha.
Sakito returns with the energy source to Taiya. Meanwhile, Jyo and Genba keep fighting Kurumaju Grumer, who transforms into a mutated Yarucar. Decotrade and Itasha try stopping him so that he won't explode, but the attempt fails. Jyo and Genba then manage to remove his wheels before using Bakuage Champion Booster Drive to purify the Gyahsoline out of him and revert him back into Yarucar. Decotrade and Itasha rush to their friend and are glad to see that he's well, realizing that they owe Jyo and Genba for saving him. Suddenly, the army of Yarucars that Grantu summoned arrives from a wormhole and enters the Ghassolin that Kurumaju Grumer left behind, merging into a gigantic copy of the Kurumaju. The Sanseaters are worried that Yarucar's fellows will end up as disposables for Spindo, and decide to stop it.
At the warehouse, Taiya inserts the energy source into Bundorio's chest. Bundorio suddenly tries to get up as the light returns to his eyes and chest, but then they turn down again, to Taiya's horror.
Meanwhile, Jyo and Genba are worried because with both Bundorio and Byun-D out of commission and with the Boonboom Cars stolen, they can't fight the Kurumaju. Suddenly, the Sanseaters arrive with Boonboom Killer Robo and tell Spindo that they won't let anyone become his disposables. They dodge Kurumaju Grumer's attacks and impale him with the Killer Drill before jumping into the sky, seemingly dying in the explosion of the Kurumaju and the Killer Robo, as Jyo and Genba watch in silence.
Spindo gets angry at Grantu for letting the Yarucars run away. Grantu apologizes for his shameful failure, but tells Spindo that another wave of Yarucars are making their way to Earth. Spindo receives a video call from Eiichiro Tokoyari, who tells him that the ISA will handle the Killer Robo incident, and that he has a suggestion to stop the Boonboomgers by using an earthly method of settling conflicts without force.
Back at the warehouse, Taiya receives a call from someone. The Boonboomgers come outside and find Ishiro, who has a message from Tokoyari, A proposal for peace between the Boonboomgers and Hashiriyans: Spindo and Bun Pink must marry. All of the Boonboomgers are shocked, especially Mira, who refuses the proposal.
