Bakuage 45: Enemies of the Earth (地球の敵 Chikyū no Teki) is the forty-fifth episode of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. It is the second part of the Boonboomger endgame, featuring the brief return of Rebuild Captain Disrace since his death in episode 35 as Disrace 2000 as well as the televised debut of Nicola Keydoor after her previous appearance in Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger GekijoBoon! Promise the Circuit.

Synopsis[]

During the battle with Spindo, Boonboom becomes immobile. Taiya tries to wake Boonboom up, but he is not as relaxed as usual, and his friends are puzzled. Furthermore, Disrace is back and calls out to the people of the city, "The Boonboomgers are the enemies of the earth!"

Plot[]

The episode begins with a flashback of Taiya and Bundorio at their base. Taiya makes hot cocoa for Bundorio, and as they sit to drink he asks him what happens to lifeforms like him when they die. Bundorio answers that their body turns into sand, and that they believe that their souls arrive in an afterlife after their death. Taiya says that Earthlings think the same. Bundorio tells Taiya that if he ever dies, he wishes from Taiya to keep aiming for the BBG. Taiya says that it wouldn't be the same without him. While Bundorio worries that the Hashiriyans might get to Earth and kill him, Taiya says that despite his past, he'll help him achieve his dream. The two of them end the conversation with a fistbump.

At the present day, Taiya tries to fix a dead Bundorio and bring him back to life in a garage. At Waruido Spindo's mansion, the Hashiriyan boss asks Raita Naito if he felt good about watching his disciple suffering. Naito replies that he was simply teaching Taiya a lesson at how harsh being an adult can be. Spindo jokingly calls Naito and Director Tokoyari bad boys. Maimi Baisu tells Spindo that the director was surprised that he defeated Bundorio so easily. Spindo says that he savored Bundorio's death and still got chills from his Ghassolin's aftertaste.

Back at the garage, Genba and Jyo return with a briefcase containing spare parts for Taiya. Genba asks Taiya to take a break from trying to revive Bundorio. Mira and Jyo are worried too, since he didn't eat or sleep since Bundorio died. Taiya says he doesn't have time for this and continues trying to revive his friend. Sakito and Byun-D silently leave the Garage.

Outside, a news reporter reports that the Hashiriyans are in negotiations with Lightning Tech's CEO, Raita Naito, and offer space resources for him. Additionally, she says that Spindo apologizes for the Hashiriyans' previous attacks on Earth, saying that they all stemmed from misunderstandings with the Earthlings. Back at the mansion, Naito says that Spindo's apology has worked and that now more people are viewing the Boonboomgers as enemies. Spindo agrees, but says that they still need one final push. Just as he says that, Grantu Risk enters the room holding the fallen Disrace's snake tool, Frank.

Meanwhile, Shirabe enters the Boonboomgers' base, now occupied by the ISA, just as Ishiro removes the security from the Boonboom Cars and asks the other ISA members to pick them up. Shirabe tries to stop them and fails, and confronts Ishiro about taking away his former teammates' dreams. Ishiro reminds her that's what she tried to do as well when she first met the Boonboomgers, and that none of this would've happened if Taiya didn't choose to become the world's enemy. She says that she won't let Tokoyari and the Hashiriyans do as they please, and he reminds her that she forgot to mention one more person, referring to her traitorous friend Maimi. She says she knows that before leaving.

Spindo places his fedora on top of Frank, and with the help of Sarucar revives Disrace, who's shocked to see his boss in front of him. Spindo thanks Disrace for helping him settle his score with Bundorio, and that he revived him in retribution. He asks Disrace to do a favor for him, and the Rebuild Captain says he'll do that in 2000 minutes. Grantu attaches the Dismask 2000 to Disrace's face as Spindo asks him to do his job in 2000 minutes as promised.

Back at the Garage, Taiya pulls a lever to energize Bundorio and revive him, but it doesn't work. Taiya ties repeatedly pull the lever, but Genba tells him that it won't make Bundorio come back. Taiya yells that him that he doesn't know that, and thinks he might've used the wrong parts. Genba tells him that Bundorio isn't a robot, but a living being like them. He cannot be revived just with a replacement of parts. Taiya says he'll find a way, but Genba calls him arrogant. Mira asks from Taiya to take a break, but he instead asks from Genba to precure him more parts. Mira pleads from Taiya to get himself back on track, since his hands have been away from the wheel ever since Bundorio died. She sits him down and prepares him Bundorio's trademark curry, and tells Taiya that he won't be able to help other people if he can't help himself. Taiya eats the Boonboom Curry, and smiles because it tastes just like Bundorio's.

Outside, Sakito tells Byun-D that he never heard Taiya's scream before, and notes that he's the kind of a person who's always there to help other people, but never asks for help himself. He tells Byun-D that he's probably still saddened about Bundorio's death, but Byun-D says that it still didn't sink in for him. Back at the garage, Taiya tells his friends about his traumatic childhood memory, how he couldn't help a boy suffering from abuse, and that the boy's cries still haunt him to this day.

In the middle of the town, Disrace 2000 gathers the people and tells them that Earth needs diversity. The Sanseaters arrive as well and are surprised to see Disrace revived. Disrace tells the people that the Boonboomgers are trying to interfere with the change of pace, brainwashing three people so that they would convince everyone else that the Boonboomgers are enemies. As Disrace asks the people to hunt down the Boonboomgers, the Sanseaters call them gullible since Disrace only had to brainwash three of them to get the point across. Sakito and Byun-D arrive on the scene, but the people call them evil since they are Boonboomgers. Sakito gets angry at the people calling the Boonboomgers enemies even though they were saved by them many times. He tells the people that he doesn't mind them calling him evil, since he abandoned the planet in his childhood, but that he won't accept them calling his friends evil. Sakito then transforms and attacks Disrace, who throws a number displate at him and Byun-D to make them his brainwashed slaves, but Sakito destroys it, telling Disrace that he won't end up like MadRex. The Sanseaters, hearing their beloved captain's name, decide to intervene with the fight.

As Sakito and Disrace keep fighting, the Sanseaters attack the former and ask him why he mentioned MadRex's name. Itasha asks Disrace what is Sakito talking about, but he shoves her and tells her that he's on a tight schedule, before sending the Sanseaters flying. Byun-D saves the Sanseaters and tells them that MadRex has regained his grip on the wheel during his final battle with the Boonboomgers, but exploded after being turned into a disposable pawn by Disrace. Disrace confirms it and says it was a waste to revive him since he failed to take down the Boonboomgers with him as he exploded. The Sanseaters get angry at Disrace for not only having been the one to kill MadRex all along, but also for badmouthing him. Disrace then gets a call from Spindo, who commends him for his getting the job done and spreading the word that the Boonboomgers are enemies, but then tells him that he'll go down with them. To Disrace's shock, Spindo activates his Dismask 2000, which turns out to have been a bomb. Disrace realizes that he ironically became a disposable to Spindo just like MadRex was to him. He asks the Sanseaters for help, but they refuse to help him and run away, but not before Yarucar farts at Disrace. Sakito and Byun-D then resume the fight against Disrace.

Back at the garage, Taiya continues telling his story to his friends. After learning that there are even worse cases around the world than what his neighbor experienced, he decided that he wants to help them. But as he was a child himself, there wasn't much he could do without the help of an adult. However, most people that Taiya approached refused to help him and called him naïve, so Taiya decided to grow up fast and make a peaceful world where suffering children could live happily. He says that he'll never regret meeting Bundorio, and that he can still revive him. Jyo tells Taiya that he's not naïve, and Genba and Mira tell him that they'll always be there to help him. Taiya thanks them and says that he's glad to have them as his friends. Mira is happy that Taiya got his hands back on the wheel, and sheds a tear of joy on Nicola Keydoor's pendant. To the Boonboomgers' surprise, this causes pendant to glow and display a holographic projection of Nicola!

Sakito and Byun-D keep fighting Disrace, who manages to trap Byun-D, but Sakito shoots him and sends him flying as his Dismask 2000 explodes and kills him. Sakito says that when you're busy taking other people's wheels, you eventually lose control of your own.

Pincess Nicola says that she's gathering allies to take back planet Trickle from the Hashiriyans, and forgives the Boonboomgers for not being able to contact them in person. She says that her pendant has warned her that the Boonboomgers will face trouble A disco-ball-like object appears next to her, and she says that the object will be the key that will help them overcome all of their troubles. She hopes for them to meet again once both of their battles end before the hologram disappears. Taiya looks back at Bundorio, whose body begins to crumble into sand, indicating his impending death. Sakito and Byun-D, having heard about Nicola's message from Genba, decide to return to Bundorio as soon as possible.
