Bakuage 37: Two Spies (二人のスパイ Futari no Supai) is the thirty-seventh episode of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger.

Synopsis[]

The appearance of a spy friend causes a red flag of betrayal to appear for Ishiro. Taiya fights with Ishiro and puts a weapon in his hand, saying "Let's end this now." What will happen to the Boonboomgers' bond!?

Plot[]

The episode begins with Ishiro and Taiya fighting each other in the Boonboomgers' base. Taiya manages to ground Ishiro and points his Boonboom Handle at him.

Hours before that, Sakito and Byun Diesel are cleaning a park, when Bundorio appears and greets them. The cleaners tell him that they were asked by the neighborhood association to clean up the park, and Bundorio tells them that he's out shopping for food using Taiya's money. The big-eater Sakito is wide-eyed when seeing Taiya's wallet, so he and Byun-D decide to join Bundorio in his shopping.

Meanwhile, Taiya is visiting Raita Naito and warns his mentor of Eiichiro Tokoyari, but Raita laughs and tells Taiya that he'll let Tokoyari use his technology if it'll help to protect Earth. Earlier, Ishiro has told Taiya that from the info he gathered, he found out that Tokoyari is planning to use Bundorio as a bargaining chip to negotiate with Waruido Spindo, but Taiya answers that he and Bundorio won't make it easy. Ishiro also tells him that Tokoyari has made contact with many wealthy people to resist Spindo, and among them is Raita Naito. Back in the present, Raita asks Taiya if he's afraid that Tokoyari will make him scream, reminding Taiya of a childhood memory in which he didn't protect a child in trouble from the next door. In the same flashback, Taiya consults his teacher, Mahiro, who tells him that it's an adult's responsibility to take action when there's trouble. Young Taiya tells her that he wants to grow up as fast as possible, as Raita confronts him in the present.

Elsewhere, a woman inserts an Ignition Key into a camera, creating a Kurumaju from it. Meanwhile, the Sanseaters are eating when Yarucar suddenly jolts as he smells a Kurumaju. Surprised that a Kurumaju has been created by someone else, the Sanseaters decide to go and check it up.

Ishiro is walking around when he notices a familiar face. The woman recognizes him as her former partner, and Ishiro, happy to learn that she's still alive, recognizes her as his old partner, Sutea. Suddenly, Camera Grumer and Nejiretta appear and Ishiro prepares to face them, but Sutea knocks him down using a poisonous ring, telling him that it was reckless to turn his back on her.

Sutea ties up Ishiro and wakes him up. Ishiro is shocked to find Camera Grumer standing behind her. Camera Grumer takes a picture of Ishiro and uses his ability to make a copy of him out of the picture. Sutea gives the copy Ishiro's suit, Boonboom Changer and Boonboom Handle, and Ishiro asks her if she's going to get rid of him now that she has a clone. She tells Ishiro that he's still useful for her, as he figures out who hired her.

In the Boonboomgers' base, Taiya teaches Jyo how to fix up the Boonboom Cars. Mira is annoyed when Jyo keeps working even though they agreed to switch up every five minutes, when "Ishiro" gets back. He asks where Bundorio is, and Mira tells him he's out with Sakito and Byun-D, who are shopping for hot dogs in the street and buy the entire store with Taiya's money. Taiya is alerted of a Kurumaju by his Changer, so the Boonboomgers head out, but "Ishiro" asks Taiya to stay in the base as backup since Bundorio is absent, to which Taiya agrees.

Camera Grumer collects Gyahsoline from people by taking pictures of them and editing them to look bad, to their offence. The Sanseaters come and ask him who he's working for, but he takes an unflattering picture of them, angering them. When Mira, Jyo and Genba arrive to fight off the Nejiretta, the Sanseaters retreat and Camera Grumer decides to face them. When they destroy the last Nejiretta, Camera Grumer takes a picture of them and makes copies of them out of the pictures, shocking them. The Boonboomgers begin to fight their clones as Sakito arrives and transforms to help them.

Back at the base, the fake Ishiro hacks the computer system, shutting down the Boonboom Cars. Taiya, who was still in the base, asks him what he's doing and tells him that he knew from the start that he was a fake. Taiya explains that the fake Ishiro's emotionless eyes gave it away, and also the fact that he didn't know Bundorio's location, something that an Informant like Ishiro should've known. The two begin fighting each other as Ishiro tells Taiya that he infected his computer systems, disabling the Boonboomgers' abilities to transform or summon the Boonboom Cars, but as he says so, the computer returns to normal. Taiya tells him that the real Ishiro made a counter program in case the system get hacked.

Sutea tells Ishiro that she's disappointed that he left his work as a spy to become a superhero, but then he releases himself from the handcuffs and the two begin to fight. Sutea pulls out a pistol and tries shooting at Ishiro, but he manages to avoid the shots. He manages to distract her, snatches her gun and points it at her. Sutea tells him that Taiya might be dead, and at the same time fake Ishiro tells Taiya that the real one might be dead, but both of them tell their respective opponents that they have faith in each other. Taiya manages to destroy Ishiro's copy as the real Ishiro handcuffs Sutea. She tells him that Taiya is dangerous, but Ishiro answers that it's what makes teaming up with him fun before walking away.

As the Boonboomgers are fighting Camera Grumer and their clones, Ishiro and Taiya jump in to help them. Taiya returns Ishiro's Boonboom Changer to him and tells the other Boonboomgers that he's taken care of the fake Ishiro. The two transform and Ishiro uses the Champion Changer to transform the Boonboomgers into their Champion forms. He uses Patrol Car 1 Customize and Racing Customize to destroy the fake Boonboomgers, and the Boonboomgers power him up to help him activate Bakuage Champion Drive and destroy Camera Grumer. Yarucar enlargers Camera Grumer, so the Boonboomgers form Boonboomger Robo Champion to fight him. The Boonboomgers manage to destroy Camera Grumer's lens before using Boonboom Goal In to destroy the Kurumaju.

Sutea, who managed to free herself from the handcuffs, watches the fight from a rooftop and admiring Ishiro's growth as a mysterious figure watches her from behind. Eiichiro Tokoyari calls the person from his car, telling him that he's disappointed in Sutea and that he knows what to do. The Boonboomgers return to the rooftop and find a broken transmitter left behind by Sutea. Ishiro reveals that he placed it on her to find her client, and the Boonboomgers realize that she left it behind to warn them that they are under surveillance of Eichiro, as Sutea is most likely disposed off under his order. To break the gloomy mood, Mira pinches Ishiro's cheeks and calls him Chasshiro to the point of annoying him, confirming that he's in fact the real Ishiro. The Boonboomgers walk back to the base to eat, with Taiya and Ishiro reaffirming their status as an equal as the episode ends.
