Bakuage 26: Secrets of The Universe

Bakuage 26: Secrets of The Universe (宇宙の秘密 Uchū no Himitsu) is the twenty-sixth episode of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. This is the start of the third arc of the Boonboomger Saga, featuring the first appearances of Eiichiro Tokoyari and Rebuild Captain Disrace[1].

Synopsis[]

Shirabe is to explain the Boonboomgers to the head of ISA. Meanwhile, Taiya and the others have to fight a familiar Grumer.... What's more, something extraordinary happens...!? The 3rd LAP is about to begin!

Plot[]

Bun Bun is doing maintenance on the Boonboom Cars when the duo of Sakito and Byundi barges in to eat some leftover curry. As they dine, Sakito asked where's Taiya currently at. Bun Bun answers that Taiya is currently doing another delivery job for Naito Raita, this time for another top secret package to the Physics and Chemistry Research Lab. As Sakito inquires about Naito, Byundi explained that Naito is Taiya's mentor in his delivery business ever since he met Taiya in middle school, teaching him the skills he needed to know on how to make more money. Back to Taiya's location, as Ishiro receives the package from Taiya, he commented that Naito definitely has a lot of trust in him, which Taiya simply agrees on.

As this goes on, the Sanseaters are having a collective nightmare that they were ultimately defeated and destroyed by the Boonboomgers like the Grumers. Decotrade is the first one to wake up, followed by Itasha and Yarucar. Decotrade wonders why the Hashiriyan HQ didn't immediately send another captain after Cannonborg’s demise. Yaiyai worries whether the Hashiriyan had abandoned them, and Itasha admits she almost misses Cannonborg’s complaints to them, much to Decotrade’s dismay. Decotrade then tries to lift their spirits up by remembering why they fight in the first place, as the Trio collectively reminisce about their past...

Back then in the Hashiriyan base, Madrex finds the dispirited Sanseaters at an alleyway, presumably after failing another mission that makes Madrex looked down upon on by the Hashiriyans. As the Sanseaters profusely apologize to their superior, Madrex scolds them to not stop and proceed to do their missions at full throttle, just like him. This event left Sanseaters deeply indebted to Madrex and back in the present, they decides to continue their invasion on Earth in Madrex's memory. The trio runs off while chanting the barking noises of Hashiriken, which annoys the neighborhood.

At the ISA’s Main HQ, Shirabe directly reported the events happening so far to her direct superior, Eichiro Tokoyari. Shirabe initially inquires Tokoyari about where he received the intel about Cannonborg’s whereabouts during the appearance of Jackie Hoihoi. Tokoyari simply answered that he also had his own Intel and that wasn't Shirabe’s concern. Tokoyari then inquires Shirabe about the Boonboomgers and their origins, and mistook their job as a transport business. Shirabe explained that they are delivery workers, with Taiya Hando aka Bun Red as their leader, delivering anything valuable (from objects to people) to the ones requested their aid. Tokoyari assumes that Taiya is also the one fully responsible in creating their arsenal of vehicles and gear, which prompted Shirabe to introduce Taiya's alien ally, Boondorio Boonderas.

Tokoyari then asked if Boondorio is just a giant robot, much to Shirabe's chargrin as she suddenly produces a toy Boonboomger Robo out of nowhere and starts singing her praises about Boondorio, not only as a giant robot that can combine with the Earth made Boonboom Cars, but also an aspiring alien mechanic dreaming to enter Big Bang Grand Prix, and also the best curry cook there is, much to Tokoyari's bewilderment. Humorously, this makes Boondorio sneeze twice while wondering if someone is talking about him. After regaining their respective composures, Tokoyari asks Shirabe about the remaining Boonboomger members.

Shirabe then introduces Homura Sakito aka Bun Violet alongside his Alien Partner, Byoon Diesel and describes them as 'Cleaners' from outer space. The duo are walking around the city and just miss the Trio right behind them but Byundi hears their obnoxious chants, with Sakito stopping to ask Byundi what is the matter. Director Tokoyari points out that the two worked for the Hashiriyans, which Shirabe says is true but that they defected to Taiya’s team and are helping them now.

Next, Shirabe introduces Ishiro Meita aka Bun Blue as an Information Broker for Boonboomgers ; Jyo Akuse aka Bun Black, whose works daily as a policeman and is seemingly getting a statement from a dog about strange noises at night preventing the precious pup from sleeping, but is actually talking to the dog’s owner. Shirabe says that Jyo acts as an observer between the ISA and the Boonboomgers while juggling his day job.

Mira Shifuto aka Bun Pink who joined Boonboomgers by chance, and currently works as the driver, delivery assistant and various odd jobs in her downtime. She is shown working as a convenience store cashier for the day, only to be surprised by Genba showing up to buy a lollipop.

Shirabe introduces Genba Bureki aka Bun Orange, a procurer who can provide the team with items that they need while having no explanation to how he gets them and whose past and ID remained a mystery to this day. Finally, Tokoyari inquires about Boonboomgers modus operandi for fighting the Hashiriyans, which Shirabe simply declared that they can't ignore the screams of the people in distress, especially for Taiya Hando. While Tokoyari is confused about Shirabe’s declaration, Shirabe replies that he'll know in due time.

Meanwhile, The Sanseaters arrived at a public Toilet and Itasha creates Toilet Grumer Limited, claiming that this Grumer is the first Grumer Madrex created upon his arrival on Earth. The Toliet Grumer Limited immediately begins his invasion by sucking people’s motivations out of their bodies with his Shuraba Rubber. In the nick of time, Sakito quickly arrives and attacks all the Hashiriyans present before transforming into Bun Violet. The appearance of Toilet Grumer Limited is soon noticed by Bun Bun, calling the Boonboomgers to deploy soon after. Mira and Jyo both excuse themselves from work to go out to fight the Hashiriyams, while Genba decides to save his lollipop for later as he races to the scene of the attack.

As Taiya and Ishiro arrived first, Ishiro hesitates for a second upon seeing Toilet Grumer, having a particular bad memory about the last time he fought that monster. Nevertheless, the duo transformed into Bun Red and Bun Blue respectively and start attacking the Hashiriyans. As the duo successfully corner the Toilet Grumer Limited, the Grumer activates his water flushing technique, prompting Bun Blue to save Bun Red from the water. As Bun Violet inquires about the water effect, Mira who just arrived explained that the Water can bring the true feelings of the people sprayed with it. Jou and Genba soon arrive and after Mira, Jou, and Genba transformed into Bun Pink, Black, and Orange respectively, the Boonboomgers do their usual rollcall.

Toilet Grumer Limited immediately activated the water flush technique again, with Bun Black, Pink, and Violet (who is amused by the Chaotic prospect of the technique) get sprayed by the water. Thinking that the water had the truth inducing effect like last time, Bun Black immediately declared his vow to protect the people and Boonboomgers ; Bun Pink declared the attack as a nuisance ; And Bun Violet just laughing his ass off, claiming that he won't survive in space by being dishonest with his feelings in the first place. Bun Red commented that it should not be bad for people to openly express their feelings, only to be rebuked by Bun Blue due to his traumatic experience. Bun Pink humorously chimes that she wants to see how Taiya truly feels, as she imagined Taiya being hot blooded and full of energy as he makes some absurdly exaggerated movements here and there. As Bun Blue is busy denying Bun Pink’s claim, Toilet Grumer Limited use the water flushing technique on them.

Boon Blue is directly hit by the water, and asks about Boon Red condition. Boon Red reassures Boon Blue that he's safe as he already transformed into Boon Red 119, which is completely waterproof. As Boon Red 119 didn't notice anything unusual about Boon Blue, the latter finally realized that the Toilet Grumer Limited just spraying ordinary water on everyone. This frustrates the Trio, who consider the second incarnation of Toilet to be a downgrade from the first. Thus, the Boonboomgers are free to fight as usual, with Toilet Grumer Limited destroyed after being blasted by the ZoonZoom OverDrive and ByoonByoom Arrow Drive finishers.

As predicted, Yaiyai then shoots Highway Beam to enlarge Toilet Grumer Limited. The team then summoned BoonBoomger Robo 119 and Byunbyoom Mach Robo to combat the giant Grumer. Toilet Grumer Limited immediately activates his Giant Water Flushing, which the duo Robots parry with ease. As the Toilet Grumer Limited is about to unleash another Giant Water Flush attack, the Boonboomgers immediately unleashes the Bakuage Formation : Boonboomger Full Throttle Edition to quickly defeat the Grumer. The affected citizens are returned back to normal, and the Sanseaters are left moping from another failure.

Taiya finally delivers the package safely to the Lab as Shirabe and Tokoyari continue their conversation. Tokoyari claimed that such dedication from Taiya Hando will eventually causing harm to him in the future, before allowing Shirabe to leave his office. As Shirabe walked away, she unknowingly passed by Naito Raita, suggesting there's a deeper connection between Naito and ISA. Meanwhile, Taiya reported to the Boonboomger team that the package has been successfully delivered. Everyone assumes the job is done as usual...

However, as the Boonboomgers are about to take their leave, an explosion is heard from the lab, alongside the workers screaming. As the Boonboomgers looked in shock, an alien figure exits the building, walking towards them in a flamboyant manner with the package in his hand. Mira quickly notices that the alien is a new Hashiriyan as he mockingly praised the workers inside for their "Good Job".

In an unexpected turn of events, Genba starts seething with rage upon the appearance of this new Hashiriyan. Taiya worriedly looked upon his teammate as Genba put his Boonboom Change Axe in a reverse grip before he charged, much to the shock of Jou, Mira, Ishiro and Sakito. The episode ends with Genba leaping high into the air with inhuman agility towards the Hashiriyan to attack him in mad frenzy before the screen goes black...
