The Avatar Changes are similar in concept and execution to the Gokai Changes. However, the Gokai Changes only alter the suits based on the user's gender, unlike the Avatar Changes which only replace the belt buckles of the existing designs with the Donbro Buckle. Additionally, the Ranger form’s ranged weapon is sometimes replaced with a Donblaster.
Except for Don Momotaro, Don Doragoku/Torabolt, and Don Murasame, a Donbrother is restricted to transforming into a Ranger that matches their corresponding color, meaning they are incapable of turning into a Ranger with a different color.^[1]
- Consequently, this prevents the Donbrothers from transforming into a Green Ranger as Inu Brother is restricted to transform only into Black Rangers instead.
