Alpha 5 is one of the main characters to appear in the 2017 movie.
History[]
Cenozoic Era[]
During the Cenozoic Period of Earth, Alpha 5 was ordered by Zordon to send a meteor towards his leader's coordinates to stop Rita Repulsa. Alpha did this which caused the death of Zordon, and Rita to fall into the sea.
Present Day[]
65,000,000 years later, Alpha remains the only inhabitance aboard Zordon's ship. It was not long after Kimberly Hart, Trini Kwan, Zack Taylor, Billy Cranston and Jason Scott found the power coins that Alpha met the new rangers. He also introduced the 5 to his leader Zordon who had become apart of the computer matrix aboard the ship. Both he and Zordon began training the new rangers against holographic simulations of creatures called Putties. Alpha shows sadness and despondency when Zordon, in his rage, declares them all failures and kicks them out. This is similar to what happened in the original pilot, without Zordon showing any form of rage.

Since Alpha (in this reality) has the ability to shapeshift, he can morph his body into any weapon he wants.

- He is a playable character in Power Rangers Legacy Wars. He is the only version of Alpha 5 to be playable in the game. He is the only Ally to the Rangers to be playable in the game.
