While lasting for 13 episodes on TV, the cast and production of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger held a stage show, entitled “Episode 14” in Nagano.
The premise of the Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger stage show followed the end of the 12th episode. Saburo Hatte took all the MMZ-001 which prevents the Akibarangers from transforming. Hakase's solution is the use of the proto-MMZ, which was used as the prototype Z-Cune Aoi figure by Bandai.
With the help of their delusional audiences, the Akibarangers were able to transform. Kabukicho, Shibuyacho and Mozenhakacho and the sacrificial drones were defeated. They were also able to summon Yaiba of the Darkness, Engine Gunpherd and Bakuryu TopGaler.
The official Super Sentai Red warriors also showed up to help them. Go-On Red, Shinken Red and Gosei Red grants them their Ludicrous Powers, namely Checker Flag, a Big Pen, and a Microphone, respectively.
The home video release of the Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger stage show was on October 26th 2012.
