- "It’s Morphin Time! Sabertooth Tiger!"
- ―Roll call as the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger.[src]
Aisha Campbell is the Yellow Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She is one of the Stone Canyon trio, and took over for Trini Kwan when Trini became the Yellow Omega Ranger.
History[]
Necessary Evil[]
The Power Transfer[]
Tommy leads the new Mighty Morphin team.
Sometime after Tommy starts leading the team, Jason, Zack and Trini were selected to go to a peace conference and they accepted. The Rangers then went on to retrieve the Sword of Light, an ancient artifact covered in dazzling jewels located on the Deserted Planet in the Furthest Galaxy, before Zedd tried to destroy the planet with Serpentera. The sword had the ability to transfer and copy the Powers and Power Coins from existing Power Rangers to new ones. It was used to transfer the powers from Jason, Zack and Trini, to Rocky, Adam and Aisha.
However, the peace conference is merely a cover story so that Jason, Zack, and Trini could head out into space under the direction of the Blue Emissary, who bestowed upon the three humans (along with their new alien ally Kiya) the powers of the Omega Rangers.
COMIC STORY- GGPR #32
Zordon praise Rocky, Aisha, and Adam for their work in London.
Sometime after the Stone Canyon trio were chosen as Rangers, they were sent to London to battle Nefurious, the trio’s first flying monster. Aisha, Rocky, and Adam focus on clearing a path and rescuing civilians, and Aisha also studies the veteran Rangers tactics as they battle the monster. After they return to the Command Center, Aisha is frustrated when its implied that the Rangers didn’t do a good enough job protecting the city, especially when Kim and Billy remind the team that the bar for being a Ranger is set high. During a no-win scenario in the pocket dimension, Aisha goes against Kim’s guidance and leads Rocky, Adam, and the civilians down another path, which causes them to lose the simulation. Aisha confides in her friends that since joining the Rangers, she feels like she hasn’t been a good enough Ranger.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #40
Zedd's Capture[]
Aisha and the new team would later face Dayne, a Sirian bounty hunter that was hired by Lord Zedd, during their fight Tommy would be brutally beaten leaving him out of commission.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #43 When Dayne attacked, Aisha was targeted as a soldier that didn’t like taking orders, and he studied her so that he could easily take her out of commission when he attacked. While the other five Rangers faced Dayne again they would be rescued by a mysterious team of Rangers called the Omega Rangers. After they were saved by the Omega Rangers and Tommy was healed, Aisha refuses to just move on from the situation like it didn’t happen and gets into an argument with Kim about it.
Dayne's capture forced Zedd to implement his Plan B and turn his minions into his new Dark Rangers. However, before he could complete the process, the Omega Rangers stormed Rita's Moon Palace as a proactive move to deal with Zedd once and for all. Whilst his minions took on the Omega Rangers outside, Jason (as the Red Omega Ranger) managed to break into Zedd's throne room where he ordered some Putties to dispose of him. Once they were decimated however, Zedd regarded the mythical Omega Rangers and their proactive attacks on evil before deciding to take them on personally.
COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 44
Jason's Red Omegazord crushes Zedd.
Despite putting him up a good fight, Lord Zedd easily defeated Jason and tried to feed him to a massive shark monster but Kiya obliterated it with her Omega Trident and Zedd was then surrounded by the entire team of Omega Rangers. Jason demanded his surrender so, with his minions defeated and few choices left, Zedd enlarged himself into a giant and gloated over how they were trying to defeat him in his own environment but was immediately defeated when Jason fought dirty by using his Red Omega Zord to crush Zedd after he refused to surrender which knocked him out. Now unconscious, Zedd was captured by the Omega Rangers (though Goldar managed to take his Z Staff) and placed Zedd in a gigantic containment dumpster which was itself placed in a massive copper chamber in Safehaven prison. Tommy was then attacked by Kiya, the Blue Omega Ranger, as she confused him with Lord Drakkon.
Although Lord Zedd was captured, Jason and Zordon had a severe conversation with each other following his defeat. Jason was just glad that one of the greatest evils on the universe was going to jail for good, but Zordon was worried that Zedd was manageable and his defeat would just cause other, more powerful villains to take over instead. After the Omega Rangers storm the Moon and capture Lord Zedd, Aisha worries that Zordon will take their powers away.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #45
Kiya and the Anointed[]
After Kiya betrayed the Omega Rangers, she wanted to kill Tommy to prevent another Drakkon from being born. The Omega Rangers went to get medical attention for one of their members that was badly injured in the Command Center, revealing that the three Omegas were Jason, Zack and Trini.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #46
When Trini and Zack return to Earth after Kiya’s attack, Aisha, Rocky, and Adam volunteer to go with them into space to track Kiya down. On the journey, Aisha opens up about her insecurities as a Ranger, and asks Trini if she’s only a temporary Ranger because the Stone Canyon trio knew the identities of the Rangers and their similarities. Though Trini says that Aisha was chosen to be a Ranger and that means she is meant to be one, Aisha has trouble believing her since Trini lied to Zordon and her friends.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #47 While Trini and Zack went with Rocky, Adam, and Aisha into space to find another Empowered, Jason stayed on Earth and trained with Tommy while they argue about Jason's decision of leaving the team and going into space without telling them.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #48
The Anointed
Tommy and Jason eventually went to Safehaven with the rest of the Rangers to stop Kiya. When the two Ranger teams are up against Kiya, Dayne, and Garrison, the Stone Canyon prove themselves as Rangers by successfully taking down Dayne. They receive help from the Ranger Slayer while the others defeat Kiya and the Anointed with a new Zord. After the fight the friends make amends before going their separate ways. Later the Rangers went to investigate a meteor that supposedly landed, but they found it was a visibly aged and unstable Drakkon who had returned.

The New Green Ranger[]
Drakkon's Return[]
Drakkon's return.
Unbeknownst to all, Drakkon was not in fact dead, instead trapped in the void of his broken world. After some time, he encountered an unknown force, which so terrified him that he desperately attempted to escape. He was ultimately successful by way of a mysterious bargain, which Drakkon was apparently unhappy with, and arrived back in the primary universe shortly after Tommy had become the White Ranger. His arrival was mistaken for a meteor, which the Rangers were sent to investigate with his arrival was also observed by Lord Zedd of the main universe. Visibly aged and unstable, he attacked the Rangers, actually managing to overpower several of them before being beaten down by Tommy and captured.
Zordon elected not to immediately return Drakkon to his world, as he was concerned that one so powerful would be frightened of anyone and thus could be an even bigger threat and decided to hold him in a cell under the Command Center until they knew more. Tommy refused to even speak to his alternate counterpart, while Billy would be charged with performing a medical examination of Drakkon, scanning for any dimensional contaminants or anomalies in his physiology. Remembering Shattered Grid and knowing that they did not, since the universe was effectively reset by the Heart of the Master during Beyond the Grid, he taunted them whilst trying to instill doubt and fear and withholding his information.
Empyreal Arrival[]
It was later revealed that the mysterious entity that Drakkon had run into in the void was a demented being known as the Empyreal who, unlike Drakkon, believed not in remaking the universe in their image but wiping planets clean of life and replacing it with their own form of life.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #50 The Green Empyreal attacks the planet of Gorvinos III, wiping out its entire population and replacing them with mindless, snarling leech-like monsters. The Omega Rangers came to investigate only to be ambushed by the leech creatures. The Empyreal then confronts them after they defeat their creations, telling them their name Omega was appropriate since they are facing oblivion.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #52
Jason demands to know who the Empyreal is as they introduce themselves. The being lands & reveals that they believe themselves to essentially be God and an "instrument of change." The Rangers then summon their Omega Weapons, but the Empyreal is completely unfazed by the Rangers' attacks. They cut down Zack with tiny razor sharp rocks whilst Jason is almost killed by the minion. Trini rescues him & Garrison Vox appears and unleashes a devastating barrage on the Empyreal who is completely unfazed thanks to a shield. Completely outclassed, the Omega Rangers decided to teleport into the Spectrum II and leave to fight another day. The Empyreal decides to show off by creating a gigantic lava monster which blasts the Spectrum II out of commission temporarily. Whilst watching their creation fight the Omegazords, they realize that the Rangers will be trouble for them and decides that it was their "destiny" to wipe them out. The monster is eventually destroyed by the Yellow Omegazord's Omega Spectrum Strike but XI scans the area and finds that the Empyreal has escaped from the planet entirely.
Back on the Spectrum II, the team regroup where XI reveals that there is no record of the Empyreal's existence despite his genocidal goals. Jason speculates that it had been asleep or sealed away prior to this (ala Thrax) but XI says that this will likely not be the last they'll see of the Empyreal.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #54
Zedd's Escape and new Dark Rangers[]
Zedd's new Dark Rangers.
Lord Zedd later broke loose on his own from his imprisonment on Safehaven when his minions found his dumpster and brought it back to the Moon. He berated his minions for being so inept (Goldar having acted as the leader of the group since Zedd was captured), but admitted that they did better than he thought. Rather than running away with their tails between their legs, they at least tried to destroy the Rangers which pleased him. He then returned to the Moon Palace.
Zedd came up with a plan to trick the Rangers into recharging the Green Chaos Crystal using a monster called Psychoslug with the crystal hidden in its shell. When the Rangers fired the Power Cannon to destroy it, the monster took most of the damage as the crystal absorbed some of the weapon's energy. The shell remained intact and before the Rangers could get near it, Zedd teleported it back to the Moon. He then revealed he would bestow the Chaos Crystal's power to Goldar, Squatt, Baboo and Finster, stating that they proved their worth by trying to at least attempt to destroy the Rangers in his absence despite failing, proving they are loyal to the evil emperor.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #51
Lord Zedd notes his last team of Rangers failed due to their "weak human" traits, a mistake he would not repeat. Zedd had Finster create a special Putty that resembled Rita to act as the leader of his new Dark Rangers. As for the members of his new team, he chose his minions as their reward for their semi-competence in his absence at which point he successfully empowered with the Green Chaos Crystal.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #53
Promethea's Green Ranger[]
The new Green Ranger attacks Zedd.
The Dark Rangers start causing chaos in order to attract the Rangers. When the Rangers arrive, the Dark Rangers separate and attack the team. The Ranger's Blade Blasters causes them to take take cover until Lord Zedd gets the Green Chaos Crystal closer to them so that they can amplify their strength, resulting in the creation of their own zords, the Terrorzords.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #53
The Terrorzords later combine to form the Mega Terrorzord which fights against the Mega Tigerzord and the Red Dragon Thunderzord. Despite being a two on one fight, the Dark Rangers were beating the Mighty Morphin Rangers while their leader Zedd watches with great satisfaction until a mysterious Green Ranger attacks him and breaks the Chaos Crystal, leaving Goldar and the rest without their Ranger powers and thus being forced to retreat.
The new Green Ranger teleports to a lab in Promethea as Grace Sterling commends his performance against Zedd. The Green Ranger looks on at Psycho Green's dagger encased in an energy tube and glowing with power as parts of the Dragonzord are being rebuilt. He removes his helmet as Graces promises him a mutually beneficial partnership.
COMIC STORY- MMPR #55
Unlimited Power[]
When the Omega Rangers came to Earth to inform Zordon of what happened, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers confronted Drakkon to find out what the Empyreal is and how to stop it but he just brushed them off since he loved toying with them and they had no bargaining power. Unfortunately for Zordon, the Omega Rangers were dissatisfied with Zordon basically telling them "we'll get the information from him eventually so go away" and stole Drakkon out of his cell which led Zordon to declare them enemies of the Power Rangers. After the Omega Rangers learn that Lord Drakkon came in contact with an Empyreal, the Omega Rangers free him in order for him to assist them.

COMIC STORY- MMPR: Pink #6
HyperForce[]
Meeting The HyperForce Rangers[]
During the events of Mighty Morphin season 2, Zordon gets a request from the HyperForce Rangers to help them out while they were stuck in 1994. Zordon briefs Aisha and warns her of the dangers of knowing too much about the future.
Aisha amicably introduces herself to Jack, Cloe, Marv, Vesper and Eddie the HyperForce Rangers and expresses awe in knowing that there are Rangers (and burritos) in 3016. The HyperForce Rangers are similarly awestruck since Aisha has gone down in their history books as a legend. To the team's dismay, Alpha 55 reveals that they cannot teleport to the Moon. Aisha thinks that her Zord will provide sufficient transportation.
While Alpha 55 teleports the girls back to the time ship. The group examines the damaged book, which contains odd symbols. With Aisha's help deciphering the legible content, the Rangers realize that the book is The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi, which Scorpina was reading earlier. The Hyper Force Rangers introduce Aisha to their combat training room. During that time, they develop their teamwork skills, Jack begins to develop a bit of chemistry with Aisha.
The Rangers halt their training simulation to ask Alpha 55 for his results. Aisha morphs and summons her Griffin Thunderzord to provide a means of transport. The HyperForce team takes a liking to the interior, Vesper and Chloe even taking a moment to analyze and scan it. Much to Jack's dismay, the Zord's washroom isn't very accommodating.
Aisha's Griffin Thunderzord proves to be quite fast, traversing the land and sea to reach the continent of Africa in a short period of time. While they travel, Aisha shares a bit about herself with the Hyper Force Rangers and the group considers the possibility of creating Zords of their own. The group arrives at the outskirts of Rome and the Hyper Force Rangers take a moment to admire the ancient landmarks. Alpha 55 informs the Rangers that the energy source is near the Coliseum, possibly under it, and detects several additional evil energy readings heading straight toward Rome. The Zord makes its departure as the Rangers enter the city. Marv asks an English tourist named Arlene how to get to the Coliseum, and she directs them to an appropriate tour bus.
The Rangers arrive at the Coliseum and decide that it's best to keep the civilians occupied to keep them away from any potential danger. The Rangers enter the underground passage and see a light source heading further inside, the Rangers enter and confront Finster, much to his surprise. Finster almost notices Aisha, but Jack quickly uses his large build to conceal her behind himself.
The Rangers try to defend Finster, but Velcanos uses his power to animate three marble sculptures—a fighter, a woman, and a senator—to challenge them. Aisha quickly delegates everyone to specific opponents; she will deal with Scorpina personally while Marv, Chloe, and Vesper deal with the statues, and Eddie and Jack will handle Velcanos. With all six of them in agreement, it's morphing time.
During the battle, Aisha gives Chloe a boost up into the air, and from that vantage point, she rapidly fires arrows from her Hyperion Bow, shattering the statue of the senator. With the weaker enemies vanquished, Aisha now turns her attention to Scorpina, and the two exchange words before engaging in combat. In the process, Aisha helps Eddie close in on Velcanos with a mighty toss. The Yellow Ranger delivers a decisive blow to Scorpina during their fight.
Taking one small piece of clay from the bag, Velcanos sneers and tosses it out into the arena, where it slowly grows and transforms into a large sculpture of a gladiator. Velcanos beckons Lord Zedd to enlarge the gladiator. Aisha calls forth her Griffin Thunderzord and allows Vesper to pilot it, much to the Black Ranger's sheer delight. Vesper, however, realizes that a Yellow Ranger would be better suited at handling a Yellow Ranger's Zord, so Aisha and Jack accompany her to assist in piloting the Griffin Thunderzord. Their initial attacks don't seem to faze the massive clay beast, and during their struggle, Scorpina and Velcanos escape. Marv and Chloe join the other Rangers in the Zord once they finish their objectives on the ground. With everyone in tow and team morale high, Eddie dials in a potent fireball attack, which successfully strikes and engulfs the gladiator, vaporizing it.
Back to Angel Grove, and once there, Alpha teleports them back to the time ship. Zordon anticipates that there may be some temporal consequences as a result of the Coliseum being damaged, but the Hyper Force Rangers reassure him that they did everything they could to mitigate the damage and that Aisha helped immensely.
Zordon permits Aisha to share a few parting words with the HyperForce Rangers before she departs, and she promises not to utter a single word to anyone about meeting Rangers from the future. Marv offers Aisha the parting gift of a business card advertising gelato and suggests that perhaps Ernie from the Youth Center could look into offering a similar product. Chloe gives Aisha a Cheeseburger Candy Spaghetti Burrito. Jack shares a heartfelt handshake with Aisha, but just as Marv and Vesper try to immortalize the moment with a few snapshots, Aisha fades away as Zordon retrieves her. To keep the atmosphere from becoming sad, Jack jests about the size of the bathroom in Aisha's Zord.

Andros, Gem, Aisha, Merlin and Song decide to stay back and hold off the few survivors of the United Alliance of Evil as the Hyperforce Rangers escape to their time ship and chase after Zordon. Aisha thrashes Divatox like a rag doll while Astronema attacks Andros.
TV STORY-Finale (Part 1)
The Hyperforce Rangers are unable to contact or locate Andros, but they manage to get hold of Aisha. Aisha begs for the Hyperforce Rangers to send her back to an earlier time before the dinner party took place from which she can warn Zordon, but the Time Force Rangers disagree stating that doing so would not solve problem currently at hand because time travel doesn't work that way.
Alpha 55 teleports Merlin, Aisha, Song and Gem on board and the Time Force Rangers forcefully wipes their memories, despite much protest from the allies, in an attempt to best preserve what remains of the original timeline before returning them home to their original points in their timelines.
