This article is about a Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. |
- "It’s Morphin Time! Sabertooth Tiger!"
- ―Roll call as the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger[src]
- "Yes. I knew I was making the right choice. Somehow, I feel like this is where I belong. This is my quest."
- ―Aisha Campbell leaving the Power Rangers.[src]
Aisha Campbell is the former second Yellow Ranger of the 'modern era' and the Yellow Ninja Ranger for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Retroactively, she has also been referred to as the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger or Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger though these are in reference to the show as opposed to proper labels.
More than 20 years after her retirement as a Ranger, Aisha rejoined with teammate Adam Park as an agent of Space Patrol Alpha, wherein the pair monitors the cosmos for evil activity and assists those in need.
History[]
Mighty Morphin[]
Stone Canyon Trio[]
Aisha first met Tommy Oliver, Kimberly Hart, and Billy Cranston (the Mighty Morphin White, Pink, and Blue Rangers respectively) after saving a baby along with her friends Rocky DeSantos and Adam Park. The three of them lived in Stone Canyon, California and were visiting Angel Grove to represent Stone Canyon in the Team Ninja Competition. Because of her skill as a martial artist, Aisha became an immediate target of Lord Zedd once she defeated his prospective future Dark Rangers (the cruel ninjas in black that she and her friends went up against) and chose them instead. Along with Rocky and Adam, Aisha ended up kidnapped and thrown in the Dimension of Despair, along with their favorite Stone Canyon teacher, Mr. Anderson.
Luckily, the Power Rangers came to rescue them just in time, but not before Rocky, Adam, and Aisha discovered the Rangers' identities when Tommy and Kimberly had to take off Billy's helmet after Billy fought with the Serpent of Darkness, and when Billy's identity was revealed, Kimberly and Tommy took off their own helmets, seeing no further harm in doing so. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were later taken to the Command Center to meet Zordon and were sworn to secrecy. Aisha (along with Rocky and Adam) eventually moved to Angel Grove permanently. Afterwards, they all became close friends to the Rangers and would help in several occasions. Once, when Zedd's Beamcaster monster put everyone, even the Rangers, in a trance, Zordon and Alpha were able to retrieve her, Rocky and Adam before they succumbed to the same signal, allowing Aisha to use her technical experience from working at a radio station to repair a device Billy had created that cancelled the monster's brainwashing signal, the machine having been dropped and damaged before Billy could use it himself. TV STORY-Zedd Waves
When Jason Lee Scott, Zack Taylor, and Trini Kwan were selected to attend a Peace Conference in Switzerland, Rocky, Adam and Aisha took their places on the team. Aisha became the second Yellow Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, entrusted with the Sabertooth Tiger Power Coin and the Griffin Thunderzord. Subsequently, the new members of the team transferred to Angel Grove High and began to regularly hang out with the other Rangers. TV STORY-The Power Transfer After the destruction of the Thunderzords and damaging of the Power Coins, Aisha received the Yellow Ninja Ranger powers from Ninjor, controlling the Yellow Bear Ninjazord and eventually the Yellow Shogunzord. During her time on the team, Aisha played a particularly crucial role in the defeat of the powerful monster Hate Master, as she was the only Ranger to escape his initial attack to turn the other Rangers against each other and even managed to resist a direct assault against her when she was alone. Alien Rangers[]
When Rita Repulsa's father, Master Vile, reverted time and transformed the Rangers into kids again (except for Kimberly, who left to train for the Pan Globals in Florida), the Rangers were sent into different time periods in different parts of the world to find the parts of the Zeo Crystal. On Aisha's quest, she was sent to a village in Africa that was in a state of destruction after the surrounding wildlife had began to attack the villagers. Young Aisha met a young girl named Tanya Sloan, and managed to find her Zeo Sub-Crystal. However, rather than return to the team, Aisha stayed in Africa, offering to use her veterinary knowledge to try and help cure the aggressive wildlife. Young Aisha sent young Tanya back to the Command Center, in the state that they were then in, with the Zeo Sub-Crystal in her place, aware that she would alter the course of her family's history by doing so. Saban's Masked Rider[]

Zeo[]
The Zeo Crystals restore time, Aisha regained her adult form when the crystal was reformed. She sent a letter and the tiki Auric to Tanya, who was living with the current Pink Ranger, Aisha's friend Katherine Hillard, much the same way Kimberly lived with her before.
Dino Thunder[]

Super Megaforce[]
Like Trini, it is now unknown if she was part of the Legendary Battle in her original Ranger costume.
Beast Morphers[]
Even though it is unofficially revealed if Aisha was the Yellow Ranger at the time and not Trini (as both of them share the Sabertooth Tiger Power Coin), a Yellow Ranger responded to her old teammate's signal and returned alongside her fellow Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as part of the Legendary Dino Rangers army. When Evox summoned his massive Chimera Zord, her team joined in summoning the Megazord and aiding in its defeat. With Evox on the run again, the teams departed. TV STORY-Grid Connection

Solon does not see the need for a motorcycle as the Dino Fury Rangers can already teleport. TV STORY-The Festival
Once & Always[]
By the time of Once & Always, Aisha and Adam have become members of Space Patrol Alpha, a predecessor to Space Patrol Delta. One year later, Robo-Rita re-emerged and unleashed different groups of Putties all over the world. Following the activation of the Bandora Protocol, Adam and Aisha tried to return to Earth. Unfortunately, their journey from the Sirius system takes at least 6 hours, which made them only available during a video call with their former teammates, where they learned about the capture of Tommy, Jason and Kimberly.
She returns to Earth after the other Power Rangers succeed in defeating Robo Rita, leaving shortly after to bring the captured Power Rangers to Aquitar to cure their shrinking caused by Robo Snizzard. She also gives Minh Kwan her blessing in continuing the Sabertooth Tiger Legacy. TV STORY-Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always
Personality[]
Aisha is a very big-hearted girl, with a strong body and mind. Aisha is very strong, but agile, and always finds time for her friends. She is shown to be very musical, and intelligent. Unfortunately, Aisha does not always apply herself to schoolwork, preferring the great duties of a Power Ranger instead. Aisha sometimes teaches karate in Ernie's Gym and Juice Bar, but since she loves little children, babysits as well. Aisha is very courageous, and willing to take on any monster to save her friends. Aisha prefers to fight without her Zord, but usually has to anyways.
Yellow Ranger[]
As the Yellow Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Also retroactively known as Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger or Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger (unofficial titles). During Season 3, her suit changed slightly, showing the Bear Ninja Coin in her Morpher, rather than the Sabertooth Tiger Power Coin.

Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- Aisha is portrayed by Karan Ashley. In U.S. footage of Mighty Morphin’, her suit actors was Kazuhiro Yokoyama, Bridget Riley and Mer-Mer Chen.
- Ashley would elaborate about how she and fellow co-stars Johnny Yong Bosch and Steve Cardenas were cast in a 2009 interview. “There was an ad for auditions in the paper in Dallas where I was living at the time. Steve and Johnny were also from the same area. We weren’t aware of what was going on behind the scenes, or who had left the show. It just stated it was casting for the Power Ranger roles. There was a huge line of people, at least a few thousand just in the Dallas auditions alone. The first audition was a script reading. Steve, Johnny and I were three of many called back for a second audition, which consisted of martial arts, dance or gymnastics demonstrations. Then we were the last three of only maybe a dozen-ish for a final reading before the final decisions were made.”

Notes[]
- Aisha was the first Ranger with a bear motif.
- Aisha was written off the show because Karan Ashley decided she could not handle the production scheduling. Ashley was promised 10 episodes but was given a lesser amount (2) due to condensing so that the Zeo Crystal quest plot could be included.
- A Yellow Ranger appears in Power Rangers Unite, though it is not specified if it is her or Trini.
