Adam Park is the Black Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as well as Zeo Ranger IV Green of the Zeo Rangers (Shattered Grid). He is one of the Stone Canyon trio, and took over for Zack Taylor when Zack became the Black Omega Ranger.
History[]
Shattered Grid[]
When events set into motion by Lord Drakkon caused the timeline to split into a pocket universe, each anchored on a powerset. The Zeo Rangers were split off into their own pocket universe. Adam joins the other Zeo Rangers in celebrating Jason’s time on the team, giving him the gift of his old Morpher & Tyrannosaurus Power Coin that Billy was able to help repair cosmetically. After Jason’s party, Drakkon steals his Zeonizer before Adam notices him sneaking away. He is one of the few Rangers left alive when Drakkon steals his powers, and does not participate in the fight against him due to Drakkon using his Zeo Crystal to power the Green Zeo Sentries. Necessary Evil[]
Adam was chosen by Zordon to take over the mantle of the Black Ranger, when Jason, Zack, and Trini announced that they were going to leave the team. He is a kind-hearted friend, and has a lot of excitement about becoming a Power Ranger, certain that he and his friends will be good at it. Adam is also shown to be more nervous than Rocky and Aisha, and after a tough training session, he feels guilty for joking around while fighting. However, after Tommy’s talk with the trio at the juice bar, Adam suits up to fight against a real monster – the Danger Dingo. COMIC STORY- Go Go Power Rangers Issue 32
Two months after the trio received their powers, they travel to London to battle Nefurious. Adam rescued civilians trapped in cars while also clearing out the horde of Putties on the bridge. After they return to the Command Center, Adam is shown to still be more nervous than Rocky and Aisha at being a Ranger. When Kim and Billy bring up the property damage sustained in London, Adam believes that they did something wrong that caused it. During the subsequent training in the pocket dimension that followed, he is uncertain about following Aisha’s orders over Kim’s. Adam also confesses that he misses the familiarity of Stone Canyon, and has had some trouble adjusting to balancing his life as a Ranger with school. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 40
Adam’s uncertainty and nervousness about being a Ranger was exploited by Dayne when he attacked, and his fears were used against him as a distraction so Dayne could get to Tommy. After they are saved by the Omega Rangers, Adam is uncomfortable with continuing on with training like nothing had gone wrong, but also seems nervous about Aisha speaking her own discomfort, as if he didn’t want there to be any more tension between the veterans and themselves. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 44
When Trini and Zack return after Kiya’s attack and reveal themselves as the Omega Rangers, Adam believes the two didn’t reveal their identities sooner because they didn’t trust them. After the Rangers rescue the city from Goldar’s monster, Adam is among the Rangers to volunteer tracking Kiya into space. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 47 After their ship is blown up by Cavotus and the Rangers are saved by the Ranger Slayer, Adam and Zack have a heart-to-heart. Adam admits that things seemed easier when he wasn’t a Ranger and that it feels like he’s going to die each time he goes into battle, but Zack comforts Adam and says that he is exactly who he needs to be for his team and that things will be alright. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 48
When the two Ranger teams are up against Kiya, Dayne, and Garrison, the Stone Canyon prove themselves as Rangers by successfully taking down Dayne. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 50

During the Darkest Hour story, Dark Specter and Mistress Vile combined their dark powers to corrupt the Zeo Crystal, infecting the Morphing Grid with evil. The spell became so strong that any Ranger who morphed became servants of evil that had their personalities dulled and twisted to be effective slaves. Adam was captured during the war to retake the Grid and became infected, morphing into a twisted version of his regular Black Ranger costume with his Power Coin glowing with corrupted energy, dulled colors on his suit and red pulsating veins on his limbs.
