Adam Park was the second Black Ranger of the 'modern era' of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Black Ninja Ranger of the Ninja Rangers.
Two years later, Adam becomes Zeo Ranger IV - Green of the Zeo Rangers.
During the events of Power Rangers Turbo, he briefly becomes the first Green Turbo Ranger of the Turbo Rangers.
Retroactively, he is also referred to as the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger or Black Mighty Morphin Ranger, as well as Zeo Green Ranger or Green Zeo Ranger, though these are in reference to the show, as opposed to proper labels. He has also been labeled Turbo Green Ranger, a variation on his in-show label.
Despite his apparent retirement following his tenure as a Turbo Ranger, Adam continued to support future teams of Power Rangers.
A year later in Power Rangers in Space, he helped his successor, Carlos Vallerte recover his will to fight as the Black Ranger against Lizwizard, while temporary gaining access to his Black Ranger powers.
Years later in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, his powers would be completely restored by the Sentinel Knight. Adam is recruited by Sentinel Knight for conforming part of the Retro Rangers that Adam led helping the Overdrive Rangers against Thrax and his Evil Alliance.
More than a decade after the Thrax incident, Adam operates as an agent of Space Patrol Alpha alongside his longtime teammate Aisha Campbell, wherein the two actively monitor the universe for signs of evil activity and assist those in need across the cosmos.

History[]
Stone Canyon Trio[]
Adam first met the Tommy Oliver, Kimberly Hart, and Billy Cranston (the Mighty Morphin White, Pink, and Blue Rangers respectively) after saving a baby along with his friends Rocky DeSantos and Aisha Campbell. The three of them lived in Stone Canyon, California and were visiting Angel Grove to represent Stone Canyon in the Team Ninja Competition. Because of his skill as a martial artist, Adam became an immediate target of Lord Zedd once he defeated his prospective future Dark Rangers (the cruel ninjas in black that he and his friends went up against) and chose them instead. Along with Rocky and Aisha, Adam ended up kidnapped and thrown in the Dimension of Despair; along with their favorite Stone Canyon teacher, Mr. Anderson.
Luckily, the Power Rangers came to rescue them just in time, but not before Rocky, Adam, and Aisha discovered the Rangers' identities when Tommy and Kimberly had to take off Billy's helmet after Billy fought with the Serpent of Darkness; when Billy's identity was revealed, Kimberly and Tommy took off their own helmets, seeing no further harm in doing so. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were later taken to the Command Center to meet Zordon and were sworn to secrecy. Rocky (along with Adam and Aisha) eventually moved to Angel Grove permanently. TV STORY-The Ninja Encounter
Adam's new friendship with Billy, Kimberly and Tommy would lead to his, Aisha's and Rocky's constant entanglement in Lord Zedd's schemes. After winning the tournament, the three Stone Canyon teens were kidnapped by Goldar and chained together inside a cave. A snake whose bite would render them evil permanently was set loose on them by Goldar in order to make them Zedd's dark warriors. Their attempt to escape almost succeeded, but ultimately failed; it was the morphed Kimberly, Billy and Tommy who rescued them. Billy managed to wrestle the snake away so that the teens could be freed; however, despite Kim's destruction of the snake, the injuries it caused to Billy's neck forced him to remove his helmet to prevent suffocation. Though able to breathe again, Billy's identity as a Power Ranger, along with Kim and Tommy's, were revealed to Adam and his friends. The three teens would be taken to the Command Center where the identities of Jason, Zack, and Trini would be revealed to them and they would take an oath not to reveal their identities.
- "Thank you Zordon, I won't let you down."
- ―Adam promises that he will never fail Zordon.[src]
Adam was selected to take Zack's place as the Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger when he left to attend the World Peace Conference as an ambassador in Switzerland. Rocky and Aisha also took over Jason and Trini's places respectively, and the new Rangers would subsequently move to Angel Grove and transfer over to Angel Grove High with the other Rangers.
Adam's character was revealed further after he became a Ranger. As a kid, he was often picked on and left out, but he eventually built up confidence in himself while training in martial arts; though he still had problems with girls. During this time, he was targeted by Scorpina, who disguised herself as a girl named Sabrina in order to manipulate the shy teen into alienating his friends before facing an ambush alone; perpetrated by the Scorpion Warrior. Even though Aisha didn't trust Sabrina, she attempted to get along with her for Adam's sake. This led to her being able to interfere when Scorpina lured Adam on a hike to a remote part of the park. Though the encounter left Adam's confidence in himself weakened, he would soon recover when he gained the attention of a girl Aisha had been trying to hook him up with. TV STORY-Goldar's Vice-Versa
Ninja Quest[]
When Rito Revolto joined Zedd and Rita and destroyed the Thunderzords, Adam gained new Ninja powers of the Frog, becoming the Black Ninja Ranger. He also gained the ability to pilot the Black Frog Ninjazord and later the Black Shogunzord. He was also later granted the power of the Metallic Armor.
When Master Vile (Rita Repulsa's father) came to Earth to retrieve the Zeo Crystal, the Rangers managed to retrieve it first. To ensure that Master Vile couldn't get it again, the Rangers split the Zeo Crystal into five sub-crystals and sent them to different points in history.
Alien Rangers[]

Adam turned into a child.
Vile then turned back time using the Orb of Doom, turning the Rangers back into children (unlike last time, they retained their memories). The Rangers recruited the Aquitian Rangers to fight in their stead. Billy had then created a device which would restore them to their old selves. He used the Ninja Coins as a power source, testing it on himself. This worked, but it allowed Goldar to capture the coins and Zedd and Rita destroyed them. TV STORY-Alien Rangers of Aquitar,

When Zordon revealed that the Ranger kids had to seek the Zeo Crystal, each kid was sent to a different place and time, where his or her ancestors were. When Adam's fragment of the Zeo Crystal was reunited with the four other fragments, he reverted to his normal age. However, trouble once again brewed when King Mondo and his Machine Empire drove Rita and Zedd away to begin his own conquest for Earth. With their powers destroyed, Adam and the Rangers used the reformed Zeo Crystal to harness new powers. With the Rectangle Sub-Crystal, Adam became Zeo Ranger IV: Green and gained the Zeo Zord IV. Adam vs Lizwizard.
When Carlos as Black Space Ranger had a great difficulty against Lizwizard, Adam comes back with a flying kick against Lizwizard and decides to help Carlos in his battle against the monster, due to not having his Ranger powers, he has great experience as a Ranger and knowledge about martial arts that he used to fight against the monster forcing Lizwizard to retreat.
Adam, realizing Carlos' helplessness, decides to help him. Adam listens to that, while Carlos recounts that he hurt his teammate, Cassie Chan, during a battle in which a monster traded places with her while Carlos attacked. Adam decided to help Carlos train both physically and mentally; even going so far as to teach him how to fight relying on his instincts instead of his vision. Adam told Alpha, who was also helping, that he missed being a Ranger and revealed that he had kept his broken Morpher and Mastodon Power Coin. Alpha warned him not to morph with it as its link to the Morphing Grid was destroyed, making it very unstable and could destroy him.

Adam as the Black Ranger once more, decides to protect Carlos.
When Carlos returns, Adam decides to continue training Carlos. However, Adam is shocked by Carlos' reply that he is not the Black Ranger anymore. However, Lizwizard and many Quantrons attack them, Adam defeated some Quantrons but saw Carlos being attacked by Lizwizard and decided to use his Morpher after so long ignoring Alpha 6 and Carlos' pleas. Adam took a chance and transformed once again into the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger.
Briefly, Adam attacked Lizwizard with ease; however, due to Adam's Power Coin's damaged state and unstable connection to the Morphing Grid, the Black Ranger's powers quickly began to fail and left Adam incredibly weak (to the point where he almost died). Fortunately the other Space Rangers appear to save the day. Carlos seeing Adam take the risk of morphing renewed Carlos' confidence, and he became a stronger Ranger.

Adam and Carlos after they defeated Lizwizard.
He helped Carlos easily destroy Lizwizard, but the monster recovers and grows to giant size; immediately Adam demorphs into his human form, weakened by his unstable connection to the Morphing Grid.
Carlos and his teammates come down to see how Adam is doing after using his damaged Power Morpher during that last battle. Carlos reiterated what Alpha said about using the damaged powers to morph having the potential of killing him, but Adam pointed out it was a chance he had to take in a bid to save him, and with Carlos, the odds were on their side. Adam and Carlos then shake hands and hug, before the others hoist Carlos up on their shoulders. TV STORY-Always a Chance

The strange reading turns out to be several Chillers, later when Xander's "Plan Xander" plan failed, the five Rangers fight against several Chillers.

Tori comments that she sees that they still make them big. Mr. Hartford instructs Adam to take the Flash Point Megazord and the other Rangers follow the pass.
The Rangers in the two Megazords battle Vulturus. The Rangers in the DriveMax Ultrazord have a difficult time and spot Mack racing towards them with the Sword Excelsior. Mack leaps high into the air and comes down slashing the sword through Vulturus and destroying him.
After that, Mack gives Sentinel Knight the sword, Adam and the others enter the room and tell Mack what a great job he did. Alpha 6 returns from the Morphing Grid. Mr. Hartford checks and somehow, someway the Grid is back online.

Adam crashes his Power Axe against the Z Staff of Thrax.
In the Control Center, the screen shows the Evil Alliance. Adam asks Mack if he's ready to get back into action and Mack replies that he is while he like the other veteran Rangers are ready to give the Overdrive Trackers to the six Overdrive Rangers. With the Trackers and Mercury Morpher now repaired are handed back to the six Rangers.
All of the Rangers take off to face down the Evil Alliance. All the Rangers morph, appalling Thrax, as he thought he destroyed them. The Rangers and villains race towards each other and the battle begins.

The Evil Alliance is no more and they vanish. The Rangers and Sentinel Knight walk forward. Red Overdrive Ranger tells Black Ranger that is what Ranger power is all about and they shake hands.
Everyone is gathered inside the Hartford Mansion, Adam listening that how Dax was happy to see them, then upset that they were staying, and now sad that they are leaving. Notes[]
- Adam is the first Green Ranger to be part of the core team and not be a Sixth Ranger.
- Adam is one of the first two characters (along with Tanya) to be written out without his actor's consent. Before him, Austin St. John (Jason Lee Scott), Walter Jones (Zack Taylor), Thuy Trang (Trini Kwan), and David Yost (Billy Cranston) had simply walked out on the show on bad terms, and Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly Ann Hart) and Karan Ashley (Aisha Campbell) had requested to be written out. During Passing the Torch, only Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver) and Catherine Sutherland (Katherine Hillard) actually wanted to leave the show, and the producers simply decided to retire Johnny and Nakia's characters as well, possibly out of convenience.
- Adam is the first character who served as both a Black and Green Ranger.
- Adam's scenes were not accompanied by the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers theme in the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive episodes Once A Ranger, due to ownership rights (Saban owning the original theme when Operation Overdrive was produced by Disney with the latter company not buying the song rights since they didn't have plans to use it at the time).
- Adam also had a more detailed preparation for the morphing sequence and no longer shouts "Mastodon!" or "Black Ranger Power!"
- Adam is the only Saban Era Ranger to appear in "Once A Ranger."
- As the first Green Turbo Ranger, Adam is the first Green Ranger to be second-in-command.
- Adam's age is stated as 18 years old.
- His date of birth is given as December 12th, making him a Sagittarius.
- Adam's place of birth is listed as Dallas, Texas.
