A-Bridged is the sixth episode of Power Rangers S.P.D..
Synopsis[]
The team is on the lookout for an intergalactic bank robber. They see a suspicious-looking alien, T-Top, near the vicinity of the crime. Assuming that they have their man, they try to arrest him but T-Top puts up a fight and evades them. Although the evidence points to T-Top as the bank robber, Bridge is convinced of his innocence and asks to conduct his own investigation. The others are dubious of Bridge's methods as he tries to look beyond the obvious facts and uses his intuition. Which later proves him right as the supposed witness Diane happens to be the Real Culprit Hydrax and T-Top Happens to be an Intergalactic Bounty Hunter Chasing her. Now The Green Ranger must prove that T-Top is not the guilty party before Diane gets away and the Rangers bag the wrong man.
Plot[]
Commander Cruger reports that the A-Squad are now officially missing in action. The Rangers initially offered to be part of the search party, but Cruger reprimands them that their service are needed on Earth and their current mission is to be on the lookout for an intergalactic bank robber that has robbed many banks across the galaxy. They are then alerted to an emergency about an attack in the city, and the Rangers immediately morph and go into action.
An alien chases after innocent civilians while rampaging. The Rangers show up to stop him in his tracks, but despite their efforts, they are trounced, and the alien escapes. However, Bridge manages to read the alien's aura and insists that he's not evil.
Records show the alien as Trilondon, whom the Rangers nickname as T-Top. Despite Bridge's claims that the suspect may not possibly the real culprit, his words fell on deaf ears from his fellow teammates, who stubbornly insist that T-Top is the bad guy Cruger reminds them that they must first catch T-Top to get the answers they need until an alert comes in about a robbery in progress at an International Bank, and the Rangers roll out, just as Cruger claims that he kept his money at that very bank. At a secluded location, Broodwing arrives to offer assistance to someone for a price as he collects the money to help out a mysterious criminal. The Rangers arrived at the crime scene, investigating another bank robbery, convinced that it's still T-Top, and are greeted by a witness named Diane, told her story, pinning the blame of the alien. The Rangers are insistent that the bank robber is T-Top but Bridge, still trusting his intuition, tries but in vail to convince the team that they should investigate further before making the final decision, but Rangers are as ignorant and refuse to hear his "nonsense". Having had enough, Bridge decides to run his own investigation with his own leads. Cruger agrees and allows him to be dismissed. Jack angrily asks the Commander why he did that when they are in the right until an alarm goes off showing the T-Top is found ramping around the city again. The Rangers immediately mobilize to apprehend the alien but even with just 4 of them together they were still outmatched and T-Top escapes again
Meanwhile, Bridge was true to his word as he was conducting his own investigation with new leads and clues that his team missed. He then came across Diane and asked a few questions regarding her story, and then asked her if she would like to see him do a balloon animal trick in which he lets Diane blow up the balloon. After talking with her for a while, Bridge then leaves and bids farewell, just as Broodwing appears before Diane, asking her want did the Ranger wanted. Diane rebuffs, saying that it's nothing to worry about before she reminds the bat-alien crime lord that he still owns her to get a certain someone off her back, just as he was paid for. Back HQ, Bridge was able to find that the air in it is oxygen rather than carbon dioxide, which humans do.
Broodwing founds T-Top and forces him to grow in the middle of the city. The Rangers form the Delta Squad Megazord to deal with the giant alien. Jack uses the Judgement Scanner on T-Top. however, it comes back with a Not Guilty verdict. Confused and dumbfounded, the Megazord instead uses the Shrink Cuffs to shrink back T-Top to normal size.
The Rangers questioned T-Top about how come he is not guilty from robbing the banks, to which they find out T-Top is a bounty hunter chasing the real bank robber and never did robbed the banks. Just then, Diane, who watches the whole thing, appears and still insists he's guilty. But Bridge defends the bounty hunter's innocence by claiming that she's the criminal and attempts to frame T-Top. The Rangers still wouldn't buy it and asked the Green Ranger if he was sure, to which he responds that he is sure enough to throw a car at the woman to prove his claim. Thinking Bridge has gone mad, Jack rushes to save Diane, only to see her reveal her true form out of reflex and cut the car in half. It is there that Bridge revealed that Diane is really Hydrax, a plant-based alien called a Fernovian from the planet Fernovia. The Green Ranger deduces that he figured it out through the oxygen within the balloon that she blew in and the water around the crime scene, which is from her waterjet cutting ability, to which she uses to mimic T-Top's cutting to frame him. Having done with the charade, Hydrax proceeds to defeat the Rangers first before she can escape and take her refund from Broodwing, as she faces off against Bridge. Despite her threats, she is easily overpowered by the Green Ranger and is then judged for her crimes, to which she is found guilty. The Rangers use the Canine Cannon to finish her, and Hydrax was then put in confinement. Thanks to Bridge, the Rangers successfully arrested the real robber, and while T-Top's name is cleared, but is banned from returning to Earth due to the damage he did.
After returning to base, Cruger informs the Rangers about Broodwing's profile, of how he is an evil, black-market dealer who deals illegal weapons, soldiers, and robots to those who can afford to pay him. Meanwhile, Gruumm reprimands Broodwing for going behind his back and commands to show his allegiance if he were to maintain their trust, to which the bat-alien sarcastically replies that the emperor should pay him more. The episode ends with Jack coming to apologize to Bridge for not listening to him and for doubting his intuition. He explains everything in the report to Bridge while attempting to do the latters signature hand-stand thinking pose, but fails at the end because of of his arms getting tired and falls down.

Notes[]
- The title of this episode is a pun on the word abridged, describing a work of film or literature that is intentionally trimmed to focus on its main topics, or to distill summaries of complex events. It is also a hint that Bridge is the focus of the episode.
- This episode contains the first time the judgement scanner finds a monster innocent of the crimes of which they are accused.
- This is the final episode in the franchise to date written by Mark Hoffmeier who has been with it since the 11th episode of the franchise "No Clowning Around" and even stuck around after Disney acquired the rights to Power Rangers unlike most other writers and voice actors who jumped ship.
- During Bridge's research montage, he removes a pair of reading glasses identical to Billy's of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
- This is the second episode not to feature Krybots.
