This article is about a miniseries in the Super Sentai series. |
The 4 Week Continuous Special Super Sentai Strongest Battle!! (4週連続スペシャル スーパー戦隊最強バトル!! Yon-shū Renzoku Supesharu Sūpā Sentai Saikyō Batoru!!) is a four part Super Sentai miniseries. In an unprecedented move, this four-episode miniseries is placed following the conclusion of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger but before the premiere of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.
The average ratings of the series was 3.0%.[1]

- A commercial for this miniseries was broadcast on January 20, 2019, accompanying Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger Number 48: The Real Face Under The Mask.
Synopsis[]
The story begins when a mysterious girl named Rita gathers heroes from Super Sentai teams to the planet Nemesis. The heroes are told that any wish they desire will come true if they can win the “Super Sentai Strongest Battle” tournament.[2]
Once every 500 years, it is said that a universe-spanning paranormal phenomenon called the "Moebius Connect" will occur during the turning point of an era, and indeed the Heisei Era is seemingly ending in 2019――
The Super Sentai have gathered and the "Super Sentai Strongest Battle" will be held. The winner of this battle it is said can have their "wish" granted. Warriors, who have been summoned one after another, appear in the battlegrounds. The warriors of the 42 summoned Sentai were shuffled and split into five-man teams, such as the Vehicle Team and the Animal Team, and each team's opposition to one another in the Super Sentai Strongest Decisive Battle began. In order to have their wish fulfilled, in order to take the title of "strongest", an intense battle will unfold. [3]
Episodes[]
The episodes in this series are referred to as Battle.

- Battle2: The Secretive Armor of Mystery (暗躍する謎の鎧 An'yaku Suru Nazo no Yoroi)

- Super Sentai Strongest Battle Director's Cut (スーパー戦隊最強バトル!! ディレクターズカット版 Sūpā Sentai Saikyō Batoru!! Direkutāzu Katto-ban)
Continuity and Placement[]
- Simply put, the series occurs after all previous series, specials and movies that have come before it, and right after Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. The series makes small references to people who have met before. Yamato tells Takaharu to introduce themselves for the benefit of those who have not met each other. They previously met in Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger vs. Ninninger: Message from the Future from Super Sentai. Everyone complies with Yamato, except for Captain Marvelous, who Yamato now has to introduce instead. The series also acknowledges Yamato and Marvelous' previous encounter in Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger through a direct flashback.
- The series introduces the Ryusoulgers into Super Sentai continuity, and occurs before the first episode of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger. However, Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger: The Legacy of The Master's Soul was actually a prequel web series to the TV series, because of Master Red.

Video Release[]
The series is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on the 10th of July 2019. The Blu-Ray release will contain a special Director's Cut of the series.
Notes[]
- The main villain being named Rita, the planet Nemesis being involved in the plot, and Dai-Satan appearing in the final episode is likely a homage to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which had a main villain called Rita; Nemesis was the location where her Sentai Counterpart was sealed away prior to the events of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, the Sentai show where Dai-Satan was originally from.
- This marks the first televised appearance of Gokai Red Gold Mode, a form usually associated with Gokai Silver. Gokai Red previously assumed this form in a DVD special.
- This is the first appearance of an independent Hyper ToQ 5gou outside of stage shows; Kagura previously assumed the form alongside ToQ 3gou in Ressha Sentai ToQger Station 30: The Birthday Celebration. As such, ToQ 3gou is now the only one of the seven ToQgers to have never assumed the form on her own on-screen.
